Madeline Zima to Star in Heroes

June 3, 2009

The Hollywood Reporter says that "Heroes'" Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere) is off to college in the fourth season of the show.

She will cross paths on the college campus with a quirky student played by Madeline Zima. "Californication" co-star Zima has been hired to recur on the NBC drama.

In a multi-episode arc she will play Gretchen, an edgy outsider and college roommate to Claire.

I'm finally glad they're gonna give Claire something to do on the show again besides just look at everyone else and whine about how she wants to help. Claire was always the best to watch when she had friends at school and a life.

At this point of the show, I think it is kind of obvious what is going to happen. It looks as though Nathan (or so he thinks) realizes he is actually Sylar. They really need to begin closing all the open ended questions i.e. why did half RNA symbol show up all over the show in season 1, whatever happened to Peter's dad who if you remember has the powers of Adam so dying I think is highly unlikely. What's with the fact that Jessica/Nikki and Tracy look the same is Tracy a petree dish baby? Hopefully this will be answered in Season 4 because this is not like Lost where at the end of the season finale I'm just dying to see the next season. For Heroes I would like it but they have to amaze me this season like towards the end of last.

They explained that Jessica/Tracy/Nikki were triplet petree babies.

Honestly, I'm not sure if I'm going to bother with this season. Season 3 was horrific. Nikki's ice-dace tear? Sylar has an identity crisis every other episode, but it's always resolved after every episode? That Petrelli sleep-away camp? Awful. Sylar's roadtrip/dad was the best story arc by far.

jessica/nikki & tracy are triplets. there is still one more they haven't shown yet but they also said she died at birth but who knows with this show anymore. i just wish something would happen. more villians maybe?

Identical triplets are a biological impossibility.

The only thing that would have saved this show after the first season would have been an all new cast of all new characters with an all new storyline. Nothing about Heroes was ever fresh or original; the thing that compelled us to keep watching was the mystery.

That said, I still keep watching on in the vain hope that another season will thrill me as much as the first did.

Tracy is a clone. Jessica/Nikki were twins. Nikki died at birth causing the "identity crisis".

Too bad this show sucks, because I still remember her as little Gracie on "The Nanny"...I still watch it on Nick at Nite, it was too damn funny growing up! She (as well as Milo Ventimiglia and Zac Quinto) are the only people worth watching anymore on that show. Hopefully thay all have careers after this show...and Masi Oka, he could be good in funnier roles.

I can't believe they are bringing back this piece of garbage on television. The season finale was so crappy and now that Sylar is gone (The best character in this show) this show is going even further down into the pit.

I think we all know where this is heading...Claire's brother (who really carries the show) will admit that he can turn invisible. That would explain why we can't see him in 90% of the episodes.

Also, I can explain why Nikki, Jessica, and Tracy look like identical triplets...because the actress playing them is really a set of identical triplets. Seriously. I read it online somewhere. How ELSE could you explain it?
