Source:Fox
May 21, 2009

Fox has released four new clips from "Human Target" which you can watch below. Here is the network's description of the comic book adaptation:

The new event drama, HUMAN TARGET, premieres with a special preview Sunday, Jan. 17 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) following the NFC Divisional Playoff game. HUMAN TARGET is a full-throttle, action-packed thrill ride from executive producers McG ("Terminator Salvation") and Simon West ("Con Air," "Tomb Raider"). Based on the popular DC Comics graphic novel and starring Mark Valley (FRINGE), Chi McBride ("Pushing Daisies") and Academy Award nominee Jackie Earle Haley ("Watchmen"), the series follows CHRISTOPHER CHANCE (Valley), a unique private contractor who will stop at nothing even if it means becoming a human target to keep his clients alive.

i don't get why they're not going by the comic, where he takes the place of the "target." this seems like just a rip off of some crappy show we've already seen before. fox, you bastards.

I actually think this show looks like it could be really cool

This show looks awesome, Mark Valley is great. And I've never read the comic book, but it doesn't strike me as something that needs to stick EXACTLY to the source material. Its not Superman or Batman.

I'm not even remotely interested in this show thus far. What's the hook? This show will be cancelled before it's even an episode old.

Corny.

Posted by: Honest Fan on May 21, 2009 at 18:38:41

I wouldn't say this looks corny at all. However, I didn't know Rorschach was such a midget... wow, that guy is one small dude!
I'm glad to see this main actor get a decent role. He plays a doofus on Boston Legal and he obviously has great acting talent... so good for him. The show looks exciting, fairly good plot, and well acted - so c'mon, it has to at least be as good as some of the crap that is airing right now prime time! I mean seriously, if Two and a half men is considered one of the best comedies on television... then this is going to do just fine.

looks like some crap from the 90's thats been on fox - like the sentinel or some other **** - here, insert title here_____________. they should have the dude partner up with an alien. wait, thats been done. how about the dude time travels to the past and cant get back to his own time. wait, been done. how about a dude raised by the very same ninjas that killed his parents and he's just waiting for his chance to kill them all. wait, been done. how about taking a character from a comic that is so unlike the actual comic, write some cliche **** and shove it out the door. wait! this has NEVER been done before. let's await the company endorsements now.......crickets crickets crickets.

smash adams - How can he take the place of a woman without looking like your mom

BG - It's already been picked up smart guy

Is that guy from the third clip that put the phone on speaker is Jackie Earle Haley.

Posted by: MercuryEnigma on May 21, 2009 at 19:51:40

I would LOVE him to play Captain America, but he's a little too old; and he'll be even older in 2 years :(

Posted by: shut up on May 21, 2009 at 19:59:11

Mr. Magoo, you tard. He knows it has been picked up, he is saying that while it is airing during the first episode, it will be cancelled....smart guy.

Look great, but I think there going to do the same sh** they did to terminator the sarah chronicles after a couple of seasons.

Posted by: Triad on May 21, 2009 at 21:49:34

Doesn't impress me.
I will say that I bet Mark Valley would have made an excellent Captain America if he was younger, though.

the guy at the desk in clip three looks like ben stiller from dodgeball..... white goodman

im a little confused by the January 17th thing. 2010? jesus, isnt may of 09 a little early to start showing clips?

Posted by: Steve the Dude on May 22, 2009 at 14:32:50

I like it, but I don't see the Human Target here.

Posted by: mark on May 22, 2009 at 15:31:05

Fox is messed up, they canceled terminator - but they kept dollhouse?

Who cancels a show, when a movie of the same theme is coming out?

Honest Fan said: I didn't know Rorschach was such a midget... wow, that guy is one small dude!
I don't think he's a small dude, I think that black guy is a massive mofo which gives the illusion Haley is small, I doubt they would choose a small guy to play Freddy Krueger, Robert Englund is 6'3" at least.

*vomits*

You would have to be crazy to watch anything on FOX after what they did to Terminator.

Posted by: ennuieffect on May 23, 2009 at 14:27:03

they scrapped Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles for this? what a waste.

Posted by: peruna on May 23, 2009 at 17:47:40

aaron, Jackie is actually pretty short - IMDB says 5'6".

Posted by: Michael on May 24, 2009 at 02:36:48

I hate to break it to you but Dollhouse, Fringe, and eventually Human Target will all eventually get cancelled, thats what fox does. They bring in all these Sci-Fi Shows put them on the air for a season or two and then cancel them.
I pretty much given up on watching Fox other then a few shows I just don't see the point of watching there network. I hate getting in to a show and then having it cancelled on me. I have given Fox chance after chance but after cancel Terminator I basically am at the end of my rope with there network.
Dollhouse and Fringe will get one more season and then those to will be cancelled, want proof just look at Fox track record. Any one who thinks I'm wrong is in for a very rude awaking.

Posted by: jorel on May 26, 2009 at 17:07:20
