Sherlock Holmes Teaser Poster Revealed

ComingSoon.net is attending ShoWest 2009 in Las Vegas this week where they spotted a new teaser poster for the Guy Ritchie-directed Sherlock Holmes, starring Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong, Kelly Reilly and Eddie Marsan. The mystery-action-adventure opens in theaters on Christmas Day.

they got a good cast. teaser poster isnt very creative though. hope this movie turns out good.

I think it will be good but yea the poster isn't too creative. I don't really like those little glasses. he looks like dumb old Lionel Luthor in smallville. but the movie stills have looked cool.

also I don't like the font/title logo that much. it looks like a free font or something. I hope it changes

i think i bought a monkey paw from that guy. this could be good if they focus on holmes' deductive powers and how they make him a hero, instead of making it gimmicky action trash. too early to call.

Yes Tone - you're correct - one would almost think the name on this site changed recently if this was the lead story?

Slow news day i guess. I guess the argument could be made that Sherlock is being played by Iron Man, but that is pretty thin. Last I checked - Sherlock Holmes is a detective - not a Superhero.

This is not the old Sherlock holmes, this is the new action oriented. And frankly, i think this movie will be really good.
I mean, cmon, Guy Richie at the chair, RDJ and Jude Law the leads. How can it turn out bad?
