Megan Fox to Star in Jonah Hex & Fathom

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen star Megan Fox is in final negotiations to star opposite Josh Brolin and John Malkovich in Jonah Hex, Warner Bros.' action Western based on the DC Comics character. She also is attached to star and develop Fathom, Fox Atomic's comic book-based underwater adventure.

In "Hex," being directed by Jimmy Hayward, Fox will play Leila, a gun-wielding beauty and love interest of Hex (Brolin), a scarred bounty hunter tracking a voodoo practitioner (Malkovich) who wants to raise an army of undead to liberate the South.

The movie is prepping for a shoot in April, with Mad Chance's Andrew Lazar and Weed Road's Akiva Goldsman producing.

Fathom, a comic created by recently deceased artist Michael Turner, follows a young woman named Aspen who learns she is a member of a race of aquatic humanoids who possess the ability to control water.

Fathom is being written by Jordan Mechner, the creator of video game "Prince of Persia." Peter Safran is producing with Steve Bessen and Brian Austin Green. Fox also will produce in some capacity. Turner will be credited as executive producer. Frank Mastromauro also is executive producing.

If fox is going to be involved theyre probably gonna screw it up like x3 and potentially wolverine but i will refrain. I'm just such a huge deadpool fan i cant stand to see him like that

To be honest, I don't think Fathom would have made the best movie to begin with, so getting to see Fox wet and barely wearing anything for an hour and a half is perfectly alright with me. She looks just like Aspen to begin with...

And Jonah Hex could be cool, the character is badass, but gotta wait to see a trailer to be sure though.

Well i guess this is ok, don't know much about her except from transformers. Hex could be an interesting movie, i would say maybe similar to ghost rider in box office clout and expectations. DC could have a good 2010 mostly with Green Lantern coming out in theaters as well. Go GL!

I wonder how this is going to turn out now that Fox and Green are4 no longer together. Also, how in the hell is Brian Austin Green a prducer for anything? The only thing that guy has ever done is 90210, which wasnt really a masterpiece, but certanliy had its share of eye candy once Tiffani Thiessen joined the show.

I think FAthom is a perfect role for Fox, she doesnt really need to act, all she has to do is be wet and look hott, which she can do very well, she doesnt even have to try to look hott.
