Mike Madson is good..but I've seen him in some low budget garbage over the years..

..this looks like it could be good..but so did "Superman Doomsday"

I hope we'll see a live action big budget blockbuster at the theater someday.

Quite some notable actors in this one.

Cool. Chris Meloni is an excellent choice for voice actor. Hell, if he were ten years younger, i'd say hire him as GL for the live-action movie...

Posted by: blue on March 2, 2009 at 12:04:44

Some of those sketches they were showing looked like the Batman Green Lantern from the Bold and the Brave.

stop dissin Green Lantern *****es

G.L. Jensen Ackles would be good in a Green Lantern movie, but as Guy Gardner. That role would be perfectly done by him.

Not sure about Madsen as Kilowog. He's got that raspy, been smoking for years sound to it. Not as strong and forceful as I hear it. I'd like to see his reaction reading the line with "Poozer" in it, though. haha

that was awesome! cant wait for that to come out. and then the live action flick next yr! plus Geoff Johns GL run! its a good time to be a GL fan!

and Christopher Meloni would be great for live action Hal Jordan/Green Lantern if he was yrs younger. hes a very good actor

but i say give it to Jake Gyllenhall! WB make this guy your live action Hal Jordan/Green Lantern already! he would be perfect!

WOW!!! I can't believe tha DC Comics and Animation studios is working on Green Lantern and just last month, Wonder Woman came out on DVD and Blu-Ray DVD I think. That film I will get along with, Superman/Doomsday and Batman Gotham Knight from 2007 and 2008. Green Lantern will be an epic masterpiece I can't wait to see him battle Sinestro his arch-nemesis he resembles "The Leader" from "The Incredible Hulk comic books. Actors, who could portry Green Lantern Jake Gyllenhaal(Prince Of Persia 2010), Ryan Gosling(Murder By Numbers),Christopher Meloni(Law and Order),Chris can voice Green Lantern but, he is older than Hal Jordan and Kyle Reiner's age in the comics. Jensen Ackels would make a good Green Lantern he was recently, seen in Smallville as Jason Teague the son of Jane Seymour's Genevieve Teague.

I almost forgot, Justice League: Frontier was epic and so was Hulk VS. Wolverine and Hulk VS. Thor both animated, Marvel films where marvelous loved, the Hulk and Wolverine fight plus, Lady Deathstrike, Deadpool and Omega Red and in the Thor film Hulk and Thor fight only because, his real archrival stepbrother Loki was controlling him.

@ M. Bison

Ryan Gosling has already passed on the role of Hal Jordan/Green Lantern in the proposed live action Green Lantern film. so has Emile Hirsch (Speed Racer).

WB also approached Sam Worthington (upcoming Terminator 4) but he cant do it due to scheduling difficulties w/ the remake of Clash of the Titans which is a shame because he would have been great too

other websites (AICN and Screenrant and Latino Review i think) are reporting rumors that WB is looking at Anton Yelchin (upcoming Star Trek and Terminator 4) but at a WonderCon panel this past weekend he said he was not aware of the rumors and that he thinks hes too young (he is! he is only freaking 20! he would be a terrible choice!)

Jensen Ackles would also be a terrible choice. he just flat out sucks. Supernatural is lame, Smallville sucks and My Bloody Valentine 3D was a joke.

as stated by others above, Christopher Meloni is too old and is balding pretty bad. if he were younger he would be a good choice but that is not the case

Jake Gyllenhall would be a great choice. He is the perfect age, not too old not too young plus he is a great actor. He should be cast by WB as Green Lantern/Hal Jordan

oh great, the website just has some score music, but not actual content on it. i'm dying to see a trailer or art work for this new animated movie. it's been a long time coming. i've been waiting for gl to get his own spotlight.

Posted by: johnny on March 2, 2009 at 13:03:30

Jensen Ackles or Ryan Reynolds or Jake G for GL. Nuff said.

Posted by: Zahin on March 2, 2009 at 13:08:27

OMG..This is like a dream come true

Posted by: Vic the Sage on March 2, 2009 at 13:21:21

Johnny, Ryan Reynolds would make a much better Flash imo.

I don't know, if it were up to me, I'd go with Nathan Fillion for Hal.

It looks awesome. Looking forward to it.

Message to whyyy,

Don't ever mention the word 'suck' when posting comment about the Green Lantern. This is a classic character in the DC Universe & don't try to downgrade on a character like him again. You're only downgrading yourself when you talk like that. Next time, watch it!

I am no Green Lantern fan but this looks like a lot of fun...
