November 20, 2008
Summit Entertainment has revealed the first teaser trailer for Imagi Studios' CG animated Astro Boy, coming to theaters on October 23, 2009. Directed by David Bowers from a script by Timothy Harris, the adventure film features the voices of Nicolas Cage, Kristen Bell, Donald Sutherland, Nathan Lane, Bill Nighy, Eugene Levy, Matt Lucas and Freddie Highmore.

Hopefully this will be like Pixar and just a short made for the trailer.
I know this gave away nothing about the movie, I just hate it when a movie trailer is everything the movie is, just condensed.

I didn't think it was that bad. Then again, I'm a sucker for flying scenes. :)

In all honesty, it looks like 100's of random Disney/Pixar movies that have been released over the years. There's been too many random animated movies released in theaters over the years with no style or substance....

The premise reminds me a little of A.I.
Otherwise, should be a nice fun little movie for kids.

Teaser looks kool. Need more information other than that to really get a feel for what we are going to see. Hope he still has all the weapons he had from the anime version.
