Yup this superhero movie will be different to others. Were not really familiar to a type of superhero who is a drunk/bum/lazy/hero. This is gonna be awesome, cant help but wait!

I'm looking forward to hancock, but kinda wish it wasn't coming out. I was hoping in the iron man sequels they would focus more on tony starks drinking problems. With this coming out, there may not be need to cover that ground

Michael Jackson's little friend, If my memory serves me correctly there is a underground tunnel ten paces east of the petting zoo. That's how Blanket and I escaped.
Just Kidding...No, I'm for real...HA just kidding. But look for it!

I was all exited to see this movie until I realized that it wasn't the biopic of Herbie Hancock that I'd been wishing for all of these years!!!
Seriously, this looks like a lot of fun and Charlize Theron is one of the top hollywood crushes in my moviegoin' life.
SHE'S BEYOND BEAUTY!!!
---Later!

Will this be better than Unbreakable? I don't know. Plot is kind of predicable. He's the only superhero so he gets bored. At the end of the movie, a super villian pops up to keep him company and they become friends and make a super family.

I saw an advanced test screening for this movie. Expect their choice to tone down the language to do nothing to flesh out the glaring plotholes riddled throughout the picture.
I mean it was actually entertaining to see everyone calling him an @$$hole but now they're calling him a jack@$$, it just doesn't have the same effect really.
I doubt they're going to keep in the Superman- like sex scene either where he ejaculates through the top of his trailer.
This movie is the kind of flick you're going to want to see if you like watching Will Smith be his usual self. Other then that, the actual storyline is paper thin and in other ways a complete contridiction of it's own rules and limits.
Will Smith is his usual comedic self and his performance isn't much different then any other comedy he's been in, but a bit darker for sure.
Don't expect any creative mind blowing super-villiany in this folks, just the usual eye candy. I have a feeling the cut I saw will end up as a "unrated" cut on DVD later.

well the drunk hero part was kind of done with ironman if you are familiar with his history

Hrm... I've only seen one of the trailers, but I thought it looked pretty damn good. Whether or not he's just playing his normal comedic self, who cares? He does a good job.
I am dissapointing in one area though. Hancock is cashing in on Iron Man's drunkin superhero storyling. The Incredibles did the same damn thing to The Fantastic Four. Incredibles hit first and then The Fantastic Four had to overcome that. They even reportedly poured in more money to add in a longer fight scene in order to compete with The Incredibles, although I'd argue that it didn't reflect in the Fantastic Four film, as the final fight scene was still hella short and kinda ****ty.
In the end The Incredibles was simply a better film, but it definetly didn't help that people unfamiliar with The Fantastic Four, had less interest in seeing it as some of them saw it as being a rehash of The Incredibles even though, it really was the other way around and now Hancock is pulling the same **** against Iron Man!
Fortunately I think Iron Man can overcome this, but there's also the problem that Marvel doesn't want to make a rated R film, so they may never do justice to the drunkin Stark storyline anyway. :/ Here's hoping though!

You know they say he's not from a comic book but Marvel sponsors him. I own a Bishop comic book, also from Marvel, and Hancock is in it.....He looks different, but is still a bum.
