looks pretty cool, going to see it even though it comes out a week before TDK

Liked the first one very much, looks like I'm going to love this one to...!

I love the Sarcasm of hellboy, a thing I missed in Spiderman; a wise-cracking hero.

I agree with Dutchman for the longest time i couldnt place my finger on what was missing from the spider-man movies and one of the things is the wise cracking (yes i do know that he throughs a few zingers out there but not many). Hellboy has all that i could want in it and is one of my favorite movies and so far the sequel doesnt look like its going to Drop the ball. This and Hulk are at the top of my list for this year

Does anyone know . . . is David Hyde Pierce doing Abe's voice again or is Doug Jones doing it like in the animated episodes???

Posted by: SpyGuy on May 22, 2008 at 13:52:41

Enough Already: Doug Jones is voicing and performing as Abe Sapien.

I am really looking forward to this but wow what a bad move starting this a week before tdk. Batman is just going to crush this movie.

Rock and roll, baby. I don't think I'm going too far out on a limb and predicting that this'll be the sleeper geek hit of the summer.

Looks so freakin' cool I might just soil m'undies!
(Who am I kidding? I would anyway!)
Can't wait for this!

How appropriate! I've always associated watching American Idol as sitting through Hell.

looks really good!

I've played a Troll at Busch Gardens Howl-O-
Scream in Tampa,FL.....I think Hellboy forgot to come after me....cuz I'm still here......

Yeah this movie looks good but let's get serious. The first movies script sucked and this one will too. The visuals are nice but dont go to the theatre expecting anything more than that. FLOP!

Posted by: Filmgoer on May 23, 2008 at 18:50:03

No, the script won't suck. It was written by the same person who wrote Pan's Labyrinth, which was nominated for Best Original Screenplay at the Academy Awards. The first movie had a solid script too, with rounded characters and layered themes.

Plus, Latino Review saw the movie without special effects at Universal, and said the story was so strong that it was still fantastic.

This will be the best movie this summer. Other movies may have more hype, but Hellboy II has more heart, imagination and wit.

i agree with filmgoer... heart and soul and wit and imagination. major pluses of this franchise. LOVED the first one and this one looks even better. cant wait!!!

I THOUGHT SIMON WAS "HELLBOY"!!!!!!

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THIS FLICK!!!

Trav...Considering the same people that go see Dark Knight are going to go see Hellboy, I don't think it's going to do too badly. As far as the release date goes, these things are set more than a year in advance, before anyone really knows exact dates for other things coming out. They sometimes can be changed, but apparently it's not a simple thing to do.

Lobster Johnson's Ghost
it actually comes out almost a month after TDK

i think this is going to be amazing by the way

Posted by: YOH on June 3, 2008 at 10:51:47

lol its so stupid when he goes Five-Fingered Mary when he only has four fingers on that hand lol

Posted by: AYBG on June 6, 2008 at 06:45:09

Awesome!! Because I'm not a Bat-fan, this is my joint number one film I can't wait to see this year - with Tropic Thunder...
of course, it doesn't come close to Watchmen, but I'm one of Del Toro's biggest fans, having seen and loved all his films...

Posted by: Superhero-freak on June 10, 2008 at 19:55:09

I think the movie is going to be a good one. I think X-men is better. I hope they make a sequel to X-men, but a new generation.Maybe Hellboy II will be better than the first one.
