Hello there, long time reader, first time contributor. Anyway, I work at a movie theatre and we just today got in and assembled a new standee for "The Dark Knight." It's very similar to one of the previous posters, but it's fairly 3-dimensional (and was very hard to put together). I don't know if you post things like this, but here are two pictures I managed to snap off before the bigwig came out to check our progress. Thanks for all the info over the years, and keep up the good work.

On a less juvenile (but not by much) point, the standee looks fan-freaking-tastic- and the movie looks to be even more so! CANNOT WAIT!!!

That standee sucks! Its for the kids. If you like it you are under the age of 13. That Back photo of the Joker would have been a better choice and would have kept that dark vibe that this batpod one takes away.

1. Trailers, photo's and standees - All look excellent.

2. The photo of Dent - Is that genuine? It looks very graphic. Finally a decent Two Face after the appalling Forever effort.

3. What MPAA certificate is this carrying over here in Blighty?

July 18th is not close enough.

Am I the only one who is just tired of the Batpod? I mean its cool he has a bike type thing, but the fact that every promotional thing has it is just kinda tiring. Oh well, I'm willing to give it a shot..I mean I thought the same thing about the Bat-Tank/Mobile but I love it now

i like the look of the pod in the film, but that poster with bruce on the bike is so unasthetic, its just not a great poster, and they could do alot more with the standees for the film.

Gonna be a great film but its a rubbish poster.

Too sweet. I need to steal this, along with the Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk standees. I'm sure there's a bigger fan boy out there that'd spend $$$ for that.

looks pretty cool, could have done better though for sure, picture of joker wld be better as "white folks" suggested, but that would be a bit too extreme i think, scarin kids etc haha.

It reminds me of the silver surfer standee from the last fantastic four movie not comparing them batman beats all cant wait for this movie!!

If that's the real picture of Two-Face, it's kind of what I was expecting (based on what Aaron Eckhart said in his interview). Looks like Nolan and the gang are going to push this PG-13 rating as far as it can go.

Again, they've given us a vehicle that, minus Batman, would be an unidentifiable junkyard welding contest runner-up. "Different" and "new" do not always translate to "better" or even "good". Both of these clunkers look like something ripped off from "The Road Warrior", a vastly overrated film - much like "Batman Begins".

P.S. The suit sucks too - although the new bobblehead look is a slight improvement over the goiter he had last time around. As for Ledger's Joker, I'm betting he killed himself before the critics could.
