First!

Sweet, Heroes is awesome. Last season was alright, let's hope they pick it up in this one. 3 hour season premier! Damn, that's a lot of Heroes. I hope they get a new Villain besides Sylar, i'm kind of bored with him.

3 hours damn.

Is the show actually called 'Heroes Villains' this season? Seems like an odd name, as having a Villain in a show about super heroes is kind of implied. Hopefully it doesn't flop, last season left me pretty bored. Too many gaps and left out parts that I'll let slide because of the writer's strike fiasco.

Last season that crazy woman was killed in the explosion saving the black girl, and Nathan was shot when he was going to make the announcement about the company, which i assume was an assassination, so idk why they would put their pictures up and label them as possible villains. The first season was soo good, the second one was alright. We've yet to see the Heroes come together and fight a supervillain. I wonder if they'll introduce Uluru.

Cool

Can't wait for this season. I've always love the villain of the story.

Charles, what does TDK have to do with this?

Posted by: Hayden Lover on May 9, 2008 at 16:12:12

Awesome, just plain...awesome.

Posted by: Veritas on May 9, 2008 at 16:17:03

Chazz, of course it won't compare to TDK because TDK is original and Heroes is just a poor mans version of all the iconic heroes protrayed in comics, movies, and other tv shows that came b4 it. Granted they have relatively fresh ideas on the show but it is just to boring...not enough action.

too*

Posted by: Devesh on May 9, 2008 at 16:18:14

Lol @ Charles' comment...like you can even compare a TV show to a movie -_-...

Posted by: Hellboy on May 9, 2008 at 16:21:31

TDK has absolutely nothing to do with this and by the time "Heroes" comes back, TDK will be well out of the theaters.

I love that they are putting an evil spin on some of the characters. Peter's character was awesome at the beginning of last season because of his confusion and the fact that he did'nt know where he stood. Plus, with Claire's dad and Niki, you didn't really know which side they were actually fighting for... good or evil. Which was cool!

Also, I hope they don't bring back that Maya chick... she was just so lame... Sylar should've killed her off in the first 5 minutes of meeting her.

They were all tagged as either a hero or a villain. If you look closely it's the same 5 people only they flip the labels on them. However, I thought Nathan and Jessica were killed off in season 2.

I want to see Peter and Sylar go at it again. Those two are the most powerful characters on the show and their last fight wasn't totally satisfying. They should have an entire episode of them just brawling. How awesome would that be?!?!?!

Posted by: Nowhere Man on May 9, 2008 at 16:34:23

I'll give it a chance. Hope it recaptures what made Volumn One Must See TV.

Posted by: bigmanpacetke on May 9, 2008 at 16:38:15

peter wasn't just labled a villian, look carefully and you'll see all the pictures get flipped, and on the other side peter has a hero stamped on his face. Oh and Hellboy is right, Maya was lame. If i had to watch one more episode with the same shot of her looking up with all black eyes i was going to throw my tv out the window.

I cant believe no one put FIRST in any of their posts. I am losing faith in you peeps. Oh Well....ALPHA!!!!!!(that means first);)

Posted by: Adam on May 9, 2008 at 16:44:33

3 hours? is that a joke? the show had trouble making a compelling hour of TV last season (and I was a huge fan of season 1) and now they are starting off with 3 hours?? hmm, overcompensate much?

Posted by: KS on May 9, 2008 at 16:49:42

I hope that Nathan and Nikki are not dead because their is so much more that can be done with their characters.

Posted by: fanger on May 9, 2008 at 16:51:50

well for those who say that last season left them a little disapointed, well let's not forget about the very f'n anoying writers strike wich is indeed why heroes was not has good has the season one. but wow 3 hours, thats a hell of a lot of heroes

Posted by: ThFlsh03 on May 9, 2008 at 17:00:25

"I hope there are more villains then Sylar..."

Obviously that's what they're going for since it's called Villains.

Anyways, first season took too long to get to the point...the second was like a Manga (so many holes and contradictions because they're written on a weekly basis...but at least they make them work though). This one just looks like gimmicks...it's not creative to turn your heroes into villains especially if you've gone 3 seasons without introducing more then 3 actual ones compared to the 7+ heroes.

God I wish I could edit.

fanger...the writers strike happened obviously AFTER they wrote the show. Not one writer grabbed a pencil for work purposes during the strike. That is NOT the reason why the 2nd season sucked. The writers and producers even apologized for a lack luster season...come on people give credit ONLY when it's due.

Don't get me wrong, I still watch the show and it has it's moments for me...hell I even own the 1st season. BUT, I will still point out the bad even in my favorite things.
