Brea Grant on Heroes' Speedster
May 9, 2008
The Associated Press has published an interview with Brea Grant talking about her new "Heroes" character, The Speedster. Here are a few clips that give more details on the role:
"I'm stealing a secret that's been kept in Hiro's family for a long time that he's just now found," Brea Grant told The Associated Press during a break in filming on location in a high-rise building in downtown Los Angeles. "He stops time right as I grab it, but in that second it took him to grab it, I almost make it out of the office."
Grant doesn't know much about her mysterious new character. Daphne's superpower allows her to operate at three speeds and leave a supersonic wake in her path when Hiro stops time. Grant's not sure where Daphne is from, but she does know the Speedster - that's what she calls herself - has been on her own for a long time.

It would be cool if that made this Speedster character into a traditional hero in the Heroes Universe.
It also looks like we will be getting more answers in Season 3, which is good.

Someone should just out themselves as a hero and fight for humanity. Someone like Captain Amazing from Mystery Men or something like that.

Fanboiiiiiiiiiii, I could care less about Heros (second season turned me off) but Smallville is probably the best show on TV, and no its not perfect, but it is still very entertaining to watch.

@PeartDAHurt: Chillax, friend. It's just the internet. I'm not a fan of Smallville either, and even this lil snippet of news doesn't excite me for Heroes. Does that in some way invalidate how much *you* enjoy the show?
It really shouldn't.
Topic: She's supposed to be Hiro's "Joker"? His arch-nemesis? Oh lawd...

ok, here is my question. Some people on here are people who like Smallville. Now I like Heroes but Smallville? really? am I the only one who read the news that they are bringin DOOMSDAY in Smallville? DOOMSDAY?! just think about how stupid they are gonna make him, because there not actually gonna make him look like Doomsday. He is gonna look like just another guy but yet he can kill Clark. DUMB
Posted by: BigO! on May 9, 2008 at 15:00:47
I wonder a lot about Smallville, I dont like the direction its taking but then agian, they are running out of time. He should be Superman by now but for some reason they keep pushing Clark. Heroes is ok, I'm not the biggest fan, but as a comic fan, I am open to everything. I dont go bashing other people's shows because I think I'm the biggest fan of them all. Leave other people's shows alone. Thats about it from my end lol.
