Scooper 'Space Duck' sent us this:

You may already know this but Transformers 2 will be filming at the Air Force boneyard in Arizona.

They are apparently preparing for the filming at the Tuscon facility, but it's not known when filming will take place.

starscream seems like a major player as we saw in the last movie. so is this the beginning of the movie? most probably methinks.

Hmmmmm..... Arialbots?

I can't believe I'm up this late, Oh...Cloverfield. What was I saying???

Starscream should be one of the main characters of the next movie. He has the ability to be a coward and a bada$$ at the same time, much like our current day leaders. *cough* Bush *cough*

except Bush isnt a badass just a coward. Cheney is the REAL badass..

transformers is so F-ing childish.

Posted by: fairness on April 27, 2008 at 04:12:36

I don't think this tells us much of anything about the plot or Starscream's role, though I do hope it is bigger. As far as Bush, you can make a case for saying a lot of things about the man (stupid, corrupt, whatever), but it's a little hard to justify calling him a coward. Just being president takes some pretty big brass ones. To be a president that actually takes action (instead of token diplomacy and token retaliation), and stands their ground on their convictions like he has, takes some ostrich eggs (even if you feel his convictions are misguided).

Wow Starscreams might be a major player in this sequel. I hope they bring Soundwave he had more brass ones that Starscream lol.

to fairness

yes it would take some brass ones or alot of coke the drug not the soft drink im sure some one will bash me for that

That where Iron Man filmed? It looks like the place where he puts his arms out and the dust comes flying in the trailer.

I SO want the Constructicons in and it's like a three-way battle with the Autobots fighting the Decepticons fighting the Constructicons fighting the Autobots and Decepticons...sweet...

Wyngarde: Yes, to what you've said about the Transformers role in their own movie. Good to see I'm not the only one who saw how he treated the robots.

You guys are all dorks.

Posted by: Tree on April 27, 2008 at 10:19:37

Calum, that stuff was filmed near Ridgecrest, California. A couple of my buddies were extras in that scene.

We'll see what happens with Transformers 2. You'll still drop your money for it.

Transformers 2 better have more robot action n less humans involved! It looks like aerial bots and Bruticus are gonna be in this as well since it involves military!

Posted by: Vertea on April 27, 2008 at 11:01:34

NEAT! I live right by the very same boneyard!

Posted by: omega supreme on April 27, 2008 at 11:24:04

unless i see photos i'm not believing anything about this movie. bay may be a prick who likes to mess with fans but i doubt he'd go to the trouble of building a hoax set piece just so we'd have something false to yell over.

Posted by: Mister Deadpool on April 27, 2008 at 11:34:02

Wow, you can't read anything without some Bush bashing. What the heck does Bush have to do with Transformers?

Why does everything have to be so political? I just wanted some movie news.

Posted by: Keath on April 27, 2008 at 12:10:47

Well, Mister Deadpool, you got your movie news, then you chose to read comments made by people who say Bush as a relevant topic.

Posted by: Drunken Monk on April 27, 2008 at 12:21:54

It doesn't take as much balls to be president when your daddy is there to hold your hand throughout the process...

Posted by: Drunken Monk on April 27, 2008 at 12:29:24

Oh and here's where the retards come back in. Yes, Bay is going to leak false information, is it because he wants you to feel like an idiot? No, but you're an idiot for not understanding why he's doing it. Also he's leaking information about the movie as in which characters will be in it, NOT FILMING LOCATIONS and who's being cast stupid! What sense would that make?

He doesn't want the story to be given away this time since everyone did so much digging into the first one so ask yourselves which one you would rather: Not being able to find out definite info before it comes out, or having another whole script get leaked and killing the story before you even get to see it in theatres?

i like transforming though

Posted by: Cementhead on April 27, 2008 at 12:57:42

ITS GONNA BE BRUTICUS!!!!SWEET!!

Posted by: Rock Roche on April 27, 2008 at 13:05:15

I hope this movie is half as good as part 1. I've seen Transformers about 20+ times(work in a movie store & own the dvd). I too hope for more robot action, but if a good story needs humans/military main characters then i'm all for it. Just cut back on having the Autobots sneaking in backyards and giving out "golden showers"

Posted by: Jason on April 27, 2008 at 13:31:22

I loved the first movie, but could have used a little more robot action. I'd love to see Hot Rod and Sunstreaker/Sideswipe on the Autobot side, and Soundwave on the Decepticon side. I don't know how they'd do Soundwave, as they sure as hell couldn't have him be a boom box anymore. As long as he still has that type of voice I'll be happy.

And as far as all the George Bush talk...nobody gives a f***. Go to a politics site and do your b****ing. The only complaining on a Transformers topic should be about Michael Bay.

Posted by: daniel clavette on April 27, 2008 at 13:38:30

It will be great star for starscream, and sock wawe for the sequels.

Posted by: Hot Rod on April 27, 2008 at 13:43:45

I'm agree with all you wrote Jason!
This is not a political site so, bug off!

And for your choices as new Autobots, GREAT! Hot Rod and the Lambo twins would be perfect but I would also like to have Mirage in!
Decepticons: Soundwave and Blitzwing!

Next... the teaser trailer... this will be great!!!
