A few new items have been discovered over the weekend for the Dark Knight viral campaign.

First up, the Gotham Police's Major Crimes Unit has a new site at GDPMCU.com. Lt. James Gordon (Gary Oldman) is the head of the unit.

Also, a video of Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal) has popped up here. In it, she talks about her support for Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart).

I'm a little surprised they actually got Maggie Gyllenhaal to do something like this for the viral marketing campaign. They're really going all out for this.

lol. the video's a little cheesy

but awesome to get a first look at maggie as rachel. hopefully the character is better this time around. not sure there's much to work with but it's gotta be better than that crooked smiled psycho. :)

First thing, the Rachel Dawes character should have been left out of this one. Second, even if she's staying in, it should be someone else... I mean seriously, am I the only one who doesn't think this chick's attractive in the slightest?

Okay, this viral thing is pretty cool, but what about showing a damn commercial on television? Not all of us live in our parent's basement and have time to visit three hundred websites!

Sorry, I know that not all of you live in your parent's basement. But that being said, it is true that many fans of the Bat don't have time to surf all of these different websites. Viral campaigns have a pretty good niche in the marketplace, but seriously, if you want the "common" person to start getting psyched about this movie, then show a damn commerical on television!
