No Marcus, you aren't the only one who is tiring of the Batman fanbois. Iron Man has more action in one trailer than the entire "Batman Begins" movie, and more humor. If you're a Batman fan, great, but go post in a Batman thread.

I am a comic fanboy. Regardless of the movie...

Superman
Ghost Rider
Daredevil
Hulk (Bana & Nolan versions)
Fantastic Four (both)
X-dudes
Bat-boob
etc.

I will be there, in the theatre, seeing it.

Why?

They are not masterpieces of cinema. But they are all better then the garbage that was Superman 3 & 4 and the Clooney & Kilmer Batmans, by far. I want movies in the current vein to be released, I want them to keep geting better. Hollywood almost killed the superhero genre because they attributed poor attendance with genre dis-interest. They are figuring out that fanboys want "serious" superhero movies that take them selves seriously, not spin offs of the 1960's Batman and Greatest American Hero.

Therefore, I vote with my dollar by going. When I see the movie, the only question I ask is "was it a good (insert hero here) movie". Whether or not I liked another hero movie better does not affect if I like this one. If I like it, I see it again (another vote). I will probably buy the DVD for the same reasons.

This year, I will be seeing Batman 2, Ironman, Hulk v2, Hellboy II, and Hancock, plus Indiana Jones 4, Narnia 2, and Mummy 3 because they feel like hero movies. No vote for "Superhero Movie".

Do they suck? Ask me *after* I have seen them.
I have to get off my soap box now, my mommy is calling.
