Lame
Posted by: LPAGAN on March 10, 2008 at 13:42:53
Just F'n Great....not one shot of the HULK. They hold back on the marketing and now we get a bootleg of the trailer. and of course, they have no scenes of the Hulk. Im convinced that Universal and Marvel are not happy with the end result...Just wait...this movie will get pushed back to December.
Posted by: SHH on March 10, 2008 at 13:47:35
^ Um, this is not the full trailer. That's not coming until Wednesday. What are you talking about?
Posted by: Sarg92 on March 10, 2008 at 13:47:43
@ LPAGAN
This is not a trailer.
This is a 16sec preview of the trailer. It is a commercial running on MTV channels promoting to watch the premiere of the trailer on Wednesday which will be a full 2 minute trailer.
And there will be Hulk shots. ;-)
Posted by: MIA'S FINEST on March 10, 2008 at 13:48:36
This is not good! I have to agree with LPAGAN here. Universal must not want the Hulk image to be release because they are not happy with it. The movie will be released on June 13th, but you might be right LPAGAN...they will probably push the movie back.

A preview of a trailer......lame....
But you can't critisize them for not showing the Hulk. You haven't seen the trailer yet.
Posted by: marvel on March 10, 2008 at 13:54:51
so...ok they we are getting a teaser of the teaser....arrgghhhh
Posted by: Daniel M on March 10, 2008 at 13:55:30
LOL r u guys retarded?
this is a commercial to let everyone know about the DEBUT. i repeat DEBUT!!!!! of the trailer.
why would they show Hulk images?
they know we all want to see the hulk images. thats why they're teasing us.
holy crap. some guys are born dumb, some work really hard to be dumb. which ones are u?
criticizing something before its out.
i can already see everyone who hates it, will hate it no matter what happens.
i hope you guys dont go see the movies and lay off.
but the hypocrites in all of the nay-sayers will go en masse to see it and then criticize it more.
its just life.
holy **** some guys are just so dumb!!
Posted by: Daniel M on March 10, 2008 at 13:57:13
when i ssay "i hope you guys dont go see the movie and lay off" i meant the dumb hypocritical people :)
Posted by: Sarg92 on March 10, 2008 at 13:57:23
What are you guys getting so worked up about?
This is a teaser of a teaser. Who cares if it has no Hulk, it is a 16sec clip, you can't fit much into that! Wait till Wednesday when you see an ACTUAL FULL 2 MINUTE TEASER TRAILER which will probably feature some Hulk action!
And the movie ain't getting delayed or pushed back!
They do not need to show Hulk in a 16sec commericial for a damn trailer!
Phew!
Posted by: Omar P on March 10, 2008 at 13:57:42
Who cares if this is a promo for the trailer...the marketing of this movie is just downright aweful. They should take notes from Iron-man.
Posted by: mikeym7 on March 10, 2008 at 13:58:02
@MIA'S FINEST and LPAGAN:
What makes you guys think that Universal does not want to show the Hulk and, MIA'S FINEST, what makes you think that Universal is not happy with the image? Why be so quick to judge?
Also, the movie is not going to be pushed back, so I don't know why people keep thinking that the movie will or why it should. The movie is coming out on June 13th. It has been confirmed.

This looks like crap!! just kidding... It actually looks pretty cool... It has the vibe from the original series IMO... I am still more excited about the dark knight and Iron man though...
Posted by: Sarg92 on March 10, 2008 at 14:02:56
Anyone have an idea who that bald guy is jumping?
Posted by: Harish on March 10, 2008 at 14:03:31
Cool. Can't wait for the ACTUAL trailer... seeing as THIS TRAILER is a PREVIEW... hint hint to the above.
I'm getting a warm, fuzzy feeling as if this project might finally get off the ground... it's like seeing your kid cycle without the support wheels for the first time... =')
Posted by: silent but deadly on March 10, 2008 at 14:06:00
I do agree people are jumping to conclusions way too quick...but we have to admit that the marketing is lame. the movie will be released in 3 months and we are not getting a trailer...but a promo for the trailer. Theres has yet to be a movie poster hanging in movie theaters. Lets just wait till Wednesday to see the trailer.

A trialer for a trailer.
meh.
Posted by: cal-l on March 10, 2008 at 14:08:34
marvel is focused on iron man right now and as soon as it comes out we'll be hit with a barrage of hulk commercials and publicity.
Posted by: evilismygame on March 10, 2008 at 14:16:49
another comic book movie soon to be digging itself a grave.
Posted by: Ripper on March 10, 2008 at 14:17:03
This is looking really great! I am definitely jazzed to see this. Great tension in those few seconds. I like the subtle relation it has to the tv series as far the whole Norton/Bixby personality.
Posted by: Ripper on March 10, 2008 at 14:24:53
Wow. I don't have any idea how anybody can post a negative comment on this.
The commercial looked great. It's got a far superior caliber of actors involved than the 2003 version, so there is no way when they reveal the Hulk this Wednesday that it could possibly look worse than the previous incarnation.
This movie is going to be awesome.
Posted by: justin on March 10, 2008 at 14:40:55
Just from that 16 seconds, I already think Ang Lee's is better - I don't know why everyone hates that flick so much. I thought it was a pretty sweet psychological study...about the Hulk. Good stuff. New one? Not so much.
Posted by: Daniel M on March 10, 2008 at 14:43:22
the marketing isn't lame at all.
marvel is being carefull.
they have Ironman and they have the Hulk.
during the last hulk movie, the superbowl ad showed unfinished footage and it got slammed. some brown-eye leaked an unfinished copy and started the whole "shrek" comparaison which so didn't deserve it (they even sued him. cause after all, it did cost the movie a lot of money in profits)
marvel wants to show finished shots. they want to show the action. they dont want to shoot themselves in the foot.
marketing isn't lame. marketing hasn't started.
the fact that ur saying it's lame shows that you want to see more and more hulk.
u will get ur hulk fix.
that much is certain.
if this trailer is a 2 min trailer, then marvel is going full out from the beginning. no 30 secs spots teasers etc. a full on trailer 3 months to go.
ironman just gave us an official trailer a few weeks ago. which is about 2 months before the movie comes.
so pay a bit more attention before jumping the gun,
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
