Update: Two New Iron Man Posters!
March 7, 2008
The new domestic and international posters for Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios' Iron Man have been revealed. Directed by Jon Favreau, the May 2 release stars Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jeff Bridges.
Based upon Marvel's iconic superhero, Iron Man tells the story of Tony Stark, a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon. Instead, using his intelligence and ingenuity, Tony builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. Upon his return to America, Tony must come to terms with his past. When he uncovers a nefarious plot with global implications, he dons his powerful armor and vows to protect the world as Iron Man.
First up is the domestic poster, followed by the international poster below it.

Very cool poster. And while I do agree it very Star Wars-ish. It is STILL very cool.

Wow. This is like the third or fourth poster for Iron Man. And yet, where the hell is our Hulk poster, or screen capture, or test footage, or leaked video, or anything??? Iron Man is winning this race. I'm psyched for this movie even more than The Dark Knight.

Floating heads. Such a typical poster for what looks to be an atypical good summer movie.
Also, why is Gwyneth Paltrow featured on the poster? I thought she had a relatively small role. They had better not put a f***ing love story in this movie!

Wicked poster

I'm not going crazy for the poster, but it's ok.

I like the poster, it´s kind of unoriginal, kind of a James Bond meets star wars poster with the characters all blending in together, but its cool...can´t wait for the movie.
