New X-Men Origins: Wolverine Set Footage

The Daily Telegraph has posted footage of the Glebe (an inner-city suburb of Sydney, Australia) filming for X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Again, we'll keep mum about what is shown, but if you're ready to find out what one scene in the film will be like, then click on the link above.

Starring Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Kitsch, Will.i.am, Danny Huston, Dominic Monaghan, Daniel Henney and Lynn Collins, the Gavin Hood-directed pic hits theaters on May 1, 2009.

WOW. SHH is really keeping up with Wolverine. Thank you! I can not wait for this movie. Iron Man, The Dark Knight and The Incredible Hulk will hold me over until then. I hope.

Blobls carnie days. maybe maybe not I'm not exspecting them the to fallow the comics since they've gone their own way and this movie has become it's own universe. the location look interesting though.

I loike smallville alot.I havent watched it much,from season 3 or 4.After that i was off and on,this month is my birthday and im going to by all the seasons that are out on DVD.One thing they should do (if they havent already) Is bring in Batman and Wonderwoman in for a show.I mean,they are part of the Justice Leauge,so they should have a chance to show there face's.Who here agress with me about it?Do like a show where one of Batmans villains cross's Clark,and that cross's Batman and Clark.I think it would be cool.

I've been waiting for a Wolverine solo film since I had seen how well Hugh Jackman plays Wolverine in X-Men.

So I'll be seeing it regardless, so far minus a few curve balls, like Will.i.am (wtf?) as Kestrel, it looks to be coming along rather nicely and I have moderate expectations and rooting that Gavin Hood does a good enough job that I would look forward to a sequel.

I really hope that when the smoke clears that they don't screw over my favorite comic character. Or I'm flinging my poo at the screen and wiping my hands on your jacket.

i'd say it will be the blob at the carnival. he might be getting recruited for a new weapon x team, to hunt down logan.

would always see this film anyway, but i got faith they'll do a good job. jackmans got a lot of love for wolverine, im sure he wouldnt let them screw it up.

plus Deadpool's in it. which immediately puts this film to the top of my most wanted! Ryan Reynolds is made for the role!

this movie is going to be awesome. casting has been great still kinda wondering about will.i.am. but i have high hopes for this def excited to see deadpool on the big screen. reynolds is a perfect choice to play the "merc with a mouth"

Comingsoon.net please confirm this!!! A buddy read an article about a Wolverine teaser in one of the Marvel releases this summer. It supposedly has Brain Cox as Stryker voicing-over his lines from X-2, "...I just gave you claws!". Also he related to me that there is the famous "Snikt" and a fierce growl!!!! The teaser doesn't show any footage though.

He got this from a Game Stop promo disc, which makes me wonder about a new Wolvie game as well (hopefully on PS3)!!

Zanith thanks for the response. But is the teaser true?? The material he got was shipped to Game Stop. I'm wondering if it's for a Wolverine game attached to this new movie, or is it a theatrical teaser? It wouldn't shock me if it was the latter since big event movies do promotionals way way in advance.

Bottom line.. I JUST WANNA KNOW!
