I have a question... Howcome every one always makes a BIG deal about mentioning that they're the FIRST to post something!?.... Who gives a flying ****!?

Posted by: drakefinx2604 on February 21, 2008 at 05:16:58

Shoot, I wasn't first! I'm not cool anymore. Man. I hate my life.

Posted by: Dogma Jedi on February 21, 2008 at 05:28:23

Being "first" is something that goes on over at Harry's aintitcoolnews.com site... and seems to be here as well. Oh well. Iron Man looks amazing.

Do you think, the film will make 'Spidey-numbers' (not because of popularity but marketing) considering the box office?
I hope TDK will!

Posted by: Mike on February 21, 2008 at 06:28:36

I think it will make just over 200 probably. It looks like a good film and it has the "first movie of the summer" advantage that Spidey 1 and 3, and X2 had some years ago. All those movies successfully crossed the 200+ mark, some easier than others. But if this is cut from the same cloth as those films, consider it a potential worldwide hit. I know most likely TDK will most likely top it. But I can safely say, I'm betting we'll have a strong Iron franchise brewing.

@mike: so you think there could be iron sequels?
and thanks for your interesting comment.
TDK will top it

Posted by: vol kid on February 21, 2008 at 06:55:57

at least jon favreau will have another movie to talk about on dinner for five :)

Posted by: IronFan72 on February 21, 2008 at 07:04:06

Very cool pics, Iron Man will rock!!, I hope there will be sequels, it all depends on the box office, several of the actors like Terrence Howard have said they plan on making three films, but Iron Man could also flop and doom any sequels, I hope it brings in huge numbers, time will tell.

Posted by: Xybalba on February 21, 2008 at 07:21:23

IronMan will rock and there will be another movie for WarMachine to rise!!!

TDK will rock too...

Posted by: The Dark Knight on February 21, 2008 at 07:26:43

can't wait for both of the films!
TDK will be the better one (to me) but the iron man trailer got me interested in it. i like starks humor. thats how dad did it thats how america does it... :-)
my top 3 2008
1: The Dark Knight
2: JB: Quantom of Solace
3: Iron Man

I'm looking forward to this film, Wanted & Hellboy and the golden Army more than TDK, though I'm sure that will be enjoyable as well.

What's with these kids posting "First" here? I stopped going to AintItCool.com for a reason, don't bring the insanity here.

Anyhoo, nice pics! I'm glad we're not getting too much of this movie too soon.

Posted by: Tony on February 21, 2008 at 08:26:46

If Ironman does well; the next step is a War-Machine movie starring Terrance Howard. It has be previously hinted at comic-con by the director that Howard would be a the War-Machine.

I have a question...Why release those lame pics when the trailer and the TV spot blows them out of the water? I already think the trailers show too much too soon, save some for the movie. Save those lame pics or give better ones. Iron Man will kick butt though!

Posted by: Psyklotron on February 21, 2008 at 08:33:32

Man I hope this movie doesn't suck. Mark Steven Johnson's name isn't anywhere on this, so that gives me some hope.

Posted by: pucky on February 21, 2008 at 08:42:12

Please don't start the same FIRST **** like over at AICN. That's a sure sign of stupidity, so keep it there with those morons.

Posted by: batcavejanitor on February 21, 2008 at 08:44:47

Any chance we can get a front view of the bikini pics? lol

Stoked about the movie!

Posted by: DUTCH OVEN SUPREME on February 21, 2008 at 08:45:45

whats the big deal with first comments anyway, not like it will make you seem cooler

Posted by: Aethyrr on February 21, 2008 at 08:59:16

"first" posters are such losers.. They make me feel alright.
Anyway, nice pictures, oh yeah (Gwyneth looks sweet)

Everything we've seen so far makes me think this movie will frustrate most comic fans. From what I've seen and heard Robert Downey Jr. does an amazing job...but the comic was called Iron Man, and so is the movie. If I'm shown one more marvel movie where the hero spends more time walking around with their mask off like their identity is of little consequence I just might hurl.
To be sure this movie will go well...it'll have the kid appeal. The Dark Knight however is clearly a movie for grown ups. We're going to be shown a darker Joker than ever...not one for the kids. At least one hopes not.
