These are Not Jackman as "Wolverine" Pics
Source:Superhero Hype!

Look, not to take anything away from these photos -- Hugh Jackman looks cool, as always -- but internet sites are running these (which originated here) as if they are our first looks at Jackman in character for X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Not quite. Jackman enjoyed a Shotover Jet river ride a couple of weekends ago off-set and was snapped doing so. Don't believe us? See here and the 2/3 (AKA 3/2) entry here.
If only we could look half as cool after facing river rapids!

They still look pretty cool and I'm very excited for this film.

WOAH! Real Mutton Chops?!?!?!?!?
And here I thought they were glued on in the Make-Up trailer........

Great pics!!!
Looks great I hope they dont mes this movie up.

The sideburns in the first film were glued on for some of the film, but as filming went on Jackman grew his own. The second and third film were 100% organic.

I hope this movie doesn't suck balls like X3 did...What a piece of trash...I would rather put my junk in a car door and then slam it shut multiple times than see that still freshly steaming turd again.
This site rules by the way.
Long live the true fanboys.

I've got high hopes for this movie. As i did for spider man 3, I hope this doesn't disapoint. Wolverine's got an awesome back story and I can't wait to see it unfold on the big screen. WE WANT GAMBIT!!!!

This movie looks like it will be amazingly cool or amazingly ****ty...I don't think there will be an 'in-between,'
Posted by: Bob Vance on February 13, 2008 at 14:27:39
Hope it's better than X-men the last stand.

Mmmm. doesn't Hugh look deliciously lickable in leather as always. Can't wait to see how this movie turns out, hopefully Gavin Hood will deliver something wonderful. Now, some of these posts above need dealing with: To Invincible88 - I'm not sure how this movie 'looks' like it will be amazingly cool or ****ty at this stage, since we haven't seen anything to look at. Have a camomile tea, you big Gameboy. And to sonkeydemon, I very much hope you will indeed slam your 'junk' (your words, obviously it ain't much if it's just junk) in that car door - we all look forward to the YouTube video of your junk-slamming and to reading your obituary. Over and out with a middle Wolverine claw from MrsMarsupial. Snikt.

the third xmen was a complete disappointment. im sorry but does anyone remember half of the characters dying or losing their powers? no, i dont think so. story wasnt too bad but phoenix was handled all wrong and how could they kill not only the leader of the xmen but one of the originals in cyclops. ive never been a big fan of his to start but come on.
Posted by: kevin melendez on February 13, 2008 at 15:25:13
i agree, the third was a disappointment! i don't know why Brian Singer left he was such a good director!!

Cool pics and all. But why is Hugh carrying a stick-insect in the second picture? Strange... Any explanation would be most welcome, however bizarre!

HE LOOKS SO GOOD!!! BUT A LITTLE FORMAL! I THINK HE WILL WEAR MORE DIRTY IN THE FILM, LIKE THE COMICS.

Ok wow I saw a couple of pictures woah snap! The world may just end this very minute you just don't know. Now I know he is going all out lifting and all of that but I refuse to get excited until I see some kind of a trailer for the film and not a teaser where it just says some lame crap like ever hero has a beginning cause how many times has that happened. But anyway the movie hopefully will be better than X-Men 3 cause that was horrible.
Either way THE DARK KNIGHT is going to kick some major ass more so than this movie!
Posted by: Robertosqavez on February 13, 2008 at 16:21:53
Brian Singer left because of one big franchise called....ummmm, i don't know....Superman!!
Posted by: sentry420 on February 13, 2008 at 16:36:55
i hope he bulks up a little bit more for this movie than he was in the x men movies.
Posted by: Aethyrr on February 13, 2008 at 16:56:23
It'll be better than X-Men 3, that's for sure
