First Punisher: War Zone Photo!

ComingSoon.net/Superhero Hype! has received the first photo of Ray Stevenson as Frank Castle in Lionsgate's Punisher: War Zone, coming to theaters on September 12, 2008. Directed by Lexi Alexander, the action-thriller co-stars Dominic West, Doug Hutchinson, Colin Salmon, Wayne Knight, Dash Mihok and Julie Benz.

I agree with Jorge and tony. I loved Thomas Jane and this new guy looks lame and old (Stephan Segal) the guns look cool, but I can't even see his logo. I liked the orginal outfit from the first movie with the skull painted on it. this looks like he is trying to hard to look like a super hero instead of a badass.

I am so disappointed.I have been following The Punisher for as long as I have been able to read.It gave me reason to join the U.S.Army.I have been collecting Punisher comics and books for about 20 year's now.I read the majority of the Mack Bolan Executioner novel's and to this day if i find them at thriftstores I snatch them up.The last Punisher movie sucked that dummy looked more like Wolverine than The Punisher. And this guy look's like some reject Steven Segal.I will still watch the movie because I love the storyline and I an a diehard fan to the end.But next time you redo a comic to movie please get some feedback from fans that actually read. Favorite Punisher Comic's;The Punisher Vol. 2 No.94 and 95. P.S I actually liked Dolph Lundgren better than the last guy. Yeah really.

I know alot of folks didn't get the last Punisher. But Thomas Jane kicked as in that movie with what he was given to work with. I see he is getting the same jacked up treat that the Blade movies got. The first movie was kick ass ,the second too much CG and the last movies was made by Ass Clowns. And now they screw over the last American Bad Ass. It's time they listen to the fans and hell let us pick the stories and the actors because they suck at it. Need I mention SpikeTV's Blade WTF were they smoking crack.
