The Fans Choose Black Adam for The Rock

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson recently asked the fans if he should play Captain Marvel or Black Adam in the Peter Segal-directed Shazam! at New Line. Thousands of fans chose Black Adam and The Rock told MTV on Thursday that he would meet with Segal to talk about it.
Johnson stressed that the role wasn't yet a done deal, though he went on to say that the character of Black Adam was being changed to meet his strengths as an actor.
"Thank you for choosing," he proclaimed. "Now the goal is just to make a kickass movie, a kickass character."
