Singleton Name-Drops Possible Black Panther Actor
Source:Advanced Dark

ReelzChannel.com recently talked to John Singleton, whose first choice for Luke Cage is still Tyrese Gibson. The director mentioned a name for his other possible superhero movie as well:

In a recent exclusive interview with ReelzChannel.com, Singleton added another name to the list. "Chiwetel Ejiofor could do it," Singleton volunteered, referring to the acclaimed star of Talk to Me and Children of Men. Born in Great Britain to Nigerian parents, Ejiofor has the pedigree as well as the acting chops to handle the Panther role. And anyone who's seen Serenity (all seven of you) knows he can handle action. Just ask the browncoats.

I think Djimon Hounsou would be great as black panther since he's a great actor and also a skilled martial artist- see Never Back Down! anyways he would be my choice after Wesley Snipes who was up first for the role, but maybe Wesley is played out a bit since Blade.

all i wont too know is what is going on with the luke cage movie mr singleton i know you didnt direct the watchmen movie why are you dragging your feet on the luke cage movie when all the other white directors are coming out with their new movies and by the way mr s. iam not getting my hopes up on the black panther because he is a black hero and as i see you always drag your feet on black hero movie why they put you in change of making a black hero movie anyway maybe you should step down an let a white director make the movie theyre not dragging their feets
