Tom Rothman on More X-Men Movies

While he doesn't specifically say that there will be an X-Men 4, Fox's Tom Rothman has responded to the many e-mails and letters from fans about further "X-Men" movies. The note at TheXVerse.com reads:

The next film in the X-Men series will be "Wolverine," starring Hugh Jackman. You can expect some announcements about this movie in the very near future. And we fully intend to continue to make more "X-Men" films with both old and new muties. So fans can rest assured that they will have many opportunities in the coming years to see their favorite characters on the big screen.

The other spinoff in the works is Magneto. In related news, Rebecca Romijn was asked by MTV if she'd heard anything about either spinoff. She hasn't.

they will give us a forth x-men movie,nightcrawler will be back,rogue will get her powers back,she and iceman can mend their relationship and bobby dump kitty,rogue and nightcrawler discover that they are brother and sister from mystique.emma frost and sage as good or bad? multiple man joins the team.sunspot,forge,bishop,sunfire,cannonball,
strong guy,thunderbird,havok,longshot,cable, boom boom,banshee and dazzler appears in the movie.colossus,siryn angel and jubilee have major large role.apocalypse,mr. sinister,
shadow king,avalanche,sebastian shaw,black tom cassidy,domino,kamal,spiral,mojo,vulcan and maybe omega red as villians.cyclops's parnets also make an appears.

I would love to see an x-4 and have nightcrawler return. Of course i would like Jean Gray, pro. Xavier and scott to return. The main mutant i would like introduced is Gambit. Him and Jubilee were awesome in the cartoons. Oh, and it would be nice if Rogue's power was evolved
