Some cool movies on their way, I can't wait...

the avengers assemble poster looks sweet and so does the spiderman 4 teaser poster.

Posted by: DACMAN on June 3, 2009 at 11:35:55

YES! FINALLY SOME SPIDEY NEWS!!! Know I remember why I come here!

Posted by: Old Greg on June 3, 2009 at 11:38:06

I'm really looking forward to some of these movies (Iron Man 2 FTW), and not at all to others (Shrek 4!?!?). I'm curious to see how Spider-Man 4 is going to work out. I think Rami is a smart man that can learn from his mistakes, but only time will tell if I'm right. In any case, I'll take anything better than Spider-Man 3!!!

Spider-man 4's webbing is broken...

Posted by: AmazedMan on June 3, 2009 at 11:38:58

Nothing impressive with the Spiderman's poster...

Posted by: Honest Fan on June 3, 2009 at 11:39:46

I don't know,... I think I see something in that Spider-Man 4 poster. Is that the Black Cat crouching in the corner?

Posted by: Honest Fan on June 3, 2009 at 11:48:54

The above post wasn't from me.
Just sayin'...

Some sweet stuff. Love the Spider-Man 4 poster. Don't really know why, it's just exciting. I wonder if those white lines actually hint something.
The Iron Man 2 Poster is quite cool as well. His new armor looks nice.
Not to thrilled about "Thor" and "First Avenger: Captain America" and "The Avenngers". They look exactly like on the comic covers which is quite doll. I hope the change the designs to a more original and cineamatic look.

WOW.

2011: Spidey, Thor AND Cap???

Heaven...

Almost as good as Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, and that Batman sequel........

The Shrek 4 poster, Ironman 2 and Spiderman 4 posters all look interesting but, nothing new or impressive aboout it. I don't see Black Cat anywhere in the fourth Spiderman movie poster it just looks like the first 2 film posters with Spiderman web sticking into the skyscraper sunset. I was hoping to see The Lizard, Black Cat and hopefully Carnage in the next poster. Sam Raimi don't let your Spiderman fans down I have been a Spiderman fan since, childhood read the comics, watched the cartoons, saw the films and played, the video games.

Avengers (Iron Man II, Thor, The First Avenger: Captain America & The Avengers)Assemble & Spider-Man 4 posters look excellent.

When I saw the Spider-Man 4 poster my first thought was Morbius. Sun going down (coming up?) and the night coming on. Enter the Living Vampire.

Boo! Hiss!

Posted by: fanboy420 on June 3, 2009 at 13:31:55

just beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: batboy777 on June 3, 2009 at 13:52:25

there was NOTHING other than the official dates of releases that was exciting about any of that. I was hoping that the spider-man movie would have the spidey 3 logo crossed out and a big '4' painted over it... saying "we have decided to pick up where spider-man 2 left off... forget the big joke we played on you a couple of years ago... here's the real deal!!"

Posted by: marantaz on June 3, 2009 at 13:54:01

I agree, I think the sun setting is important... and the 4. Morbius? Man-Wolf? Kraven? And the Lizard? Can they pull off 4 and 5 with that kind of a story?

Posted by: Gigli on June 3, 2009 at 14:17:27

You guys are all silly with your villain picks for Spidey 4. They've done the symbiote... poorly. Let's see the combination of brains and brawn against Peter: Mysterio and Rhino. Or, they can just do Electro, solo. But, please! for godsakes! come up with an actual story - not just Spidey + Villains + Action = BoxOfficeRaping!

i cant let it go! Spidey 4 better be good, not campy as S3.. i get hives thinking about that movie

If BLACK CAT makes an appearance in Spider-Man 4, I hope they pick the right actress.
How about Canadian actress Tricia Helfer, who is the voice of the Black Cat in the game, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows from Activison. Helfer is famously known as the gorgeous Cylon Number Six in the Sci-Fi Channel series Battlestar Galactica. Casting Helfer as the agile (and somewhat reformed) cat burglar works well as it isn't the first time the actress has taken on the role. The gorgeous actress previously took on the voice of Black Cat as a guest character in the CW 'toon The Spectacular Spider-Man back in May 2008. Did I mention that she has much more than a nice voice going for her? Just seeing her in that black outfit would be worth the price of admission!

I'm kind of concern about the hulk. Will he be part of the Avengers coz we dont see any sign of him yet?

Posted by: Are you kidding me??? on June 3, 2009 at 17:17:49

Okay, here goes:
@deacon - Of course Hulk will be in the Avengers movie, they've been saying that all along. Did you not see the last sceen in the latest TIH movie?
@Honest Fan - I'm not seeing Black Cat in the poster, but yeah... you got me. As for your pic of Tricia Helfer, she's pretty, but there's no way they'll pick her. They'll go with some other skank that is popular at the moment and that won't make Kirsten Dunst too self-conscious.
@labotomy candidate - It's hard for us to let go of the VENOM thing, because we were so utterly dissappointed that we often find ourselves in the middle of public places shaking in the fetal position and crying about black ooze space blobs that just happen to crash into Central Park 5 feet from where Peter Parker is making out with Mary Jane and then attaching themselves to poor actors from 70's sitcoms.
@Tenesse Whiskey... - Are you serious? You want yet ANOTHER vampire movie? Don't we have enough of those? Wouldn't a Morbius storyline be about as relevant to the Spider-Man movie universe as Goth-dancing?
@Old Greg - your name is awesome by the way and makes me think of "downstairs mix-up", Yes, hopefully Raimi has learned from his mistakes, but do you really think so? Have you seen the trailer for his latest horror flick? Is this guy seriously in charge of Marvel's greatest hero? Do you honestly want to see Peter Parker portrayed by Tobey McGuire again... ever? I for one, do not!

@ deacon

What are you talking about? They made Incredible Hulk with a Nick Fury cameo. Is your memory that bad?...

Posted by: deadpoolsuomi on June 3, 2009 at 18:06:14

actually fanboiii, Iron Man had the Nick Fury cameo, Hulk had Stark.
