'Stéphane' from EcranLarge.com sent us the following after talking to Alfred Gough and Miles Millar across the pond:
I had the opportunity to meet with Alfred Gough and Miles Millar as they were in Paris, France last week for a special Smallville evening at the Jules Verne film Festival and I asked them about the possible links between the television show and the Superman returns movie and also about the Iron Man adaptation. Here's what they respond:
About the Smallville – Superman crossover (story link):
« We had a discussion with Bryan Singer and even if we're kept to the secret for the moment, we can tell you that something's going to happen in the fifth season of Smallville that will have an impact on the Superman returns movie ».
About the Iron Man adaptation (story link):
« He's a very interesting comics character because he doesn't have any superpowers. He's more like a Bruce Wayne / Batman character. In fact, he's a billionaire, just like Bruce Wayne. The project is still what we call « in development ». Last thing we've heard is that Nick Cassevetes who was to direct the adaptation is falling out of the project ».
