More From Michael Papajohn on Spider-Man 4
Source:Wolf
June 28, 2009
Last week, we received word that actor Michael Papajohn might be back for Spider-Man 4. Scooper 'Wolf' tried to follow up with him on Saturday and here's the result:
I was over at the weekly comic book show Frank & Son over in Industry, CA, and while I was walking around with my uncle we suddenly ran into Michael Papajohn. I wouldn't have noticed him except for the pictures he had all over his signing desk. He's a real funny guy - trying to sell us autographs and telling us about how the Lakers beat him out of the main table. Anyways, I asked him about Spider Man 4 because of the rumor I read that he was going to be in it. He said "I can't talk about it, but who says I died in the first one?" My uncle asked him again and he quipped "if I tell you I'll have to shoot you." Jokingly, of course. That's all I got.

Maybe Peter will confront him about what happened the night his uncle died, and we'll find out that things are actually different than what Sandman said. I just hope to God he doesn't become a villain.

......::facepalm:: anybody else starting to think this is gonna be worse then Spider-man 3? Cause I sure as hell am already getting that vibe. You know, it really is true what they say, no one ever stays DEAD in the Marvel universe. This just proves it further.

He's going to meet up with the next villian in a jail cell.

My guess: Carnage

Also in this film are Uncle Ben, Peter's parents, Otto Octavius, and Norman & Harry Osborne.

The villian could either be Mysterio or Chameleon?
Posted by: billy m on June 28, 2009 at 02:55:42
lol @ renoray
this franchise had soo much potential. spiderman 4 will be the one that makes comic book movies look bad
Posted by: CyberpunkCentral on June 28, 2009 at 02:59:37
I take that back, it's not going to be Mysterio nor Chameleon.
My best guess would have to be Electro maybe?

Man I was gonna write something about how much this sucks but I farted and it smells so bad I can't think... His pizza does suck

I think they'll cast a more well-known actor as the villian. Stop getting so upset when it's so far away. They haven't even finished the screenplay yet.

Yeah, who says he died? And you know what? Who said Uncle Ben died? Maybe after Peter left, he actually fell into a coma. And since his wallet was stolen he was listed as a JON DOE and Peter and Aunt May never knew he was alive. (Obvious sarcasm before you dumba$$es start commenting) My opinion, this already sounds like it could be worse than Spider-Man 3.
Oh and @ cobra....LMFAO!!!!!
Posted by: MarkFaust on June 28, 2009 at 03:58:32
He has to be Chameleon. It's the only thing that makes sense at this point.

Oh and just for the record. I have not, and will not watch Spider-man 3 since i saw it in theatres.

And who said Sam Raimi should direct again when there are other directors out there who coulda shown us their vision of Spider-Man instead of another sappy, crying over Mary Jane, stare in the headlights Maguire Dawson's Creek episode of Spider-Man??!!!?? Screw you Sony... you saw the $$$ of SM3 and said "Hey, why ruin a good money maker..."

maybe they'll do it in the mack garagan way - they'll make the original thief the scorpion, and from that maybe another venom or even carnange. and from all of that you can assum that connors will be involved, which might means - the lizard.
my thinking is that the main bad guys will be: scorpion, kraven, carnage (from scorpin) nd the lizarad.
all of that across two films.

Spiderman 3 could've been way better, but somehow they screw it up. But: Sam Raimi did a good job with the first 2 movies. He knows the comics! It can't be that difficult to make a good spidey movie again!
My wish for Spidey 4: He loses his powers again, like in the second movie. As Spiderman, he visits Dr. Connors who explains that Spiderman is mutating even further (Man-Spider). So Spiderman must fight the animal inside of him and find a cure for himself, because Doc Connors can't, since he used Spideys blood, turning himself into the lizard. This would be nice, imho.

Maybe (in keeping with the Kingpin rumors) he's one of the Kingpin's men?
Posted by: Ivan The Taint on June 28, 2009 at 04:27:15
This Uncle Ben's killer subject should officially be over especially after Spider-Man 3.
Bring on Dr. Connors/The Lizard and focus on having one villain like the first two films.
**** all that Kingpin, Shocker, Scorpion **** cause there's no such reference in any of the first three movies. It just wouldn't fit right now, in my opinion.
