Michael Papajohn Returning for Spider-Man 4?
Source:Cassassin
June 20, 2009
Scooper 'Cassassin' sent us the following note today about Spider-Man actor Michael Papajohn:
During a Q&A with Ted Raimi and Michael Papajohn at Wizard World Philadelphia today, Papajohn (aka the carjacker/original killer of Uncle Ben from the Spider-Man films) said that he would be reprising his role for Spider-Man 4. He then proceeded to say if he told us what his role entailed, he'd have to kill us.
If this will indeed happen, it will be interesting to see why they still need to show the character in another film considering what happened in the third installment.
Spider-Man 4 is scheduled for a May 6, 2011 release.

"We thought the killer was Dennis Carradine, then we found out it was Flint Marko, but here's the real real killer"
Just kidding. After all, I'm in the minority of people who liked Spider-Man 3 a lot.

Why? What more is there to say. We got enough in Spider-Man 1. Then they had to go and ruin it in Spider-Man 3. Now what? That he's still alive and he's become Hobgoblin? That Michael Morbius was involved too? Hydo-Man's come and is imitating him? Leave the character alone. They did too much as it is.

Yeah, Chameleon would be good. It's probably just another flashback, but Chameleon would be cool.

Prolly another flashback.

I think ther going to mess up the movie and make him Carnage.

that's cool, maybe they'll re-tell scorpion's origin (instead of using macgargan) by making jolly Jameson hire him to see how pete takes pics of spidey/ or he could become carnage (instead of Cletus Kassady)...

Chameleon is a good guess. But I don't think he's as interesting or as visually cool as some of Spidey's other villains.
I would much rather see The Lizard or Mysterio or Vulture etc. Something more exciting.
I'm hoping it's just a flashback.

he looks angry....scorpion?

Very very interesting. But about the main villain. I thought Sam Raimi said that if he returned, he'd put Lizard as the main villain.
Im confused

Didn't Myesterio kill his uncle in the comics maybe what do you say guys. Right Right.

Sam Raimi never said he would put the Lizard in Spider-Man 4. He said he wasn't sure if Dr. Connors would become the Lizard in Spider-Man 4 or 5. This is either another flashback showing more and connecting to the main villain or villains like Silvermane or Tombstone, a crime lord, or it's the Chameleon. It won't be a regular flashback of Peter remembering what happened to Uncle Ben I'm sure of that and Sandman won't be back unless it's the Sinister Six.

dint he trip and fell to his death on the first movie?
maybe his the next venom? u do got to remember that there was a peace of venom left with Peter's college teacher so maybe that escapes and takes over this guys dead body or something. I don't know Hollywood happens.
Or he can just come back for a flashback from some one else memory. maybe a new bad guy knew him or something or good guy. who knows. but we still need some more info on the movie to know what this might be about.

Is this guy even relevant after Spider-man 3???

flashback for sure, they are beating this character like a dead horse

This has Chameleon written all over it.

Maybe they are going to correct all the mistakes of Spider-Man 3, maybe they found a way to prove this guy really did kill uncle Ben and that Sandman mis-remembered cause he was high on drugs.
And maybe Peter Parker will wake up and realize that Spider-Man 3 never happened, it was all just a bad dream, like that season on "Dallas"

@Looking for REALISM
I love Tobey McGuire as spidey, Kristen Dunst is a very pretty girl, their love story is my favorite part and was my favorite part of the third... but yeah, i can see the lady who plays Aunt May is kinda annoying. Then again, what do you expect from the character she's playing. Michael Papajohn is the reason why spidey is spidey so i'm glad he'll be back.

Can they just let Uncle Ben rest in peace? Why did they bring it up for #3? Now they wanna do it all over again. Dumb.

It will probably be a small role.. this is a mind screw.. everyone says chameleon.. but come on.. doesn't anyone read comics anymore? This has Mysterio written all over it.. Chameleon wouldn't disguise himself as a carjacker. And Mysterio opens up quite a few good story possiblities.. plus he is also a classic villain.

only problem i have with the franchise is after peter parker becomes spiderman he became more self confident and tough, throughout sam raimi's direction he's remained a strong wimp...
I enjoyed the movies, but his self-doubting attitude and whiny persona kinda have irked me...
