Bloody New Punisher: War Zone TV Spot!

A new bloody TV spot for Lionsgate's Punisher: War Zone has debuted online which shows why the Lexi Alexander-directed movie got an R rating for pervasive strong brutal violence, language and some drug use! The movie opens Friday and the following clip is definitely not for the kiddoes...

I found out it might have not been a good idea for lexi to cut those 8 minutes from the IGN review but yeah it looks great i hope more stuff like this comes out under marvel knight's label *crosses finger for a blade and daredevil reboot*

Ray got the part down he is frank castle...it's just the script, which like Lexi said was originally already bad they just rewrote it so it was better but never said it would be great

Hmmmmm.....did I just view the same trailer as everyone else? B/c Punisher just punched through the guys head..........Am I the only one who thinks that is lame? I swear it looked as though I just watched a trailer that is a mixture of an old Asia karate flick mixed with a cheese Steven Sagal movie.

Now more than ever I'm going to wait til DVD. Now in a way I'm glad Tom Jane dropped out.

Btw, I'm not against the violence, heck I thought the last Punisher movie need more violence/punishment as well, but its just there is a way of doing it w/o it looking like cheese.

Anyways, if you see it and you like it, kudos to you.

Haha! That scene where he shoots that fat guy in the head totally reminded me in the movie "Hot Fuzz"- where Nick Frost asks, "Is it true that if you shoot a guy in a cetain part of the head, it will blow up?"

Still not impressed but I am still going to see it tomorrow.

This is quite possibly the most obscure release of a superhero movie this year. I had no idea this was ready to come out.

wow i agree with Billiam86 it does look.... a .. lil too. The Punisher just somehow gets extreme superhero strength to literally punch people's faces in and somehow make everybody's head explode when he shoots them? This is a desperate attempt to save The Punisher movies and try to make it violent like Rambo but failing at both by making it look unbelievably violent.

Well this IS truthfully just a little corny. Because I remember Lexi Alexander saying here fighting and gun skills in the movie were going to be very realistic.

Everything I just seen in that clip was a complete contradiction. I don't remember Punisher in the comics having the strength to punch a guy through the head and someone's head exploding from two handguns. Bull ****.

On the other hand, it's just a movie and should be very entertaining. Cool.

Just got back from seeing it, Fantastic! seeing it again first thing in the morning. Finally a real Punisher film. I loved every second of it. Went with two friends and the first thing they said after the movie was when are we seeing it again? Best film I have seen all year, of course I am biased since I have been a Punisher fan for over 20 years.

Seeing that thriller, I don't think Punisher make a hole in that dude's face with his fist. It more like the dude's face was covered by blood or might cracked or something.. but not a hole.. Beside, the poor dude was a tiny little man, while Punisher looks huge highly trained soldier. No wonder if his head cracked when hit by Punisher.. Common guys it's punisher.. don't expect it's gonna be oscar winning type of movie.. I think Lexy did a good start for the franchise and Ray is punisher.. need more development though..
