Jane's fanboy's can say anything here, but Ray Stevenson IS The Punisher.

Both are pretty cool, especially the second.

I don't care what anyone wants to say, this guy looks like Frank Castle, hands down. Not knocking his performance cuz he definitely did the best he could, but Thomas Jane didn't fit the part. Can't wait to see a more hardcore punisher, no more sticking people in the back with Popsicles, more "This claymore only weighs eight pounds, how long can you hold it out for?"...*Boom*. No more opera sing along moments...more guillotine's to the head...
Booyah!

Wow they are very "Bradstreet" in tone. This is looking better and better each day. The problem with the first movie was the tone. It felt like some crazy western instead of the hyper-violent excess that we we have been promised with this new version.

I realy liked the second Punisher with Thomas Jane, but this third installment has the potential to be what they all should have been.

Stevenson looks the part, definitely. Looks a lot more Marvel MAX in tone. But Ray Stevenson look like he's taking a painful crap every time he glares or grimaces.

Teaser looked somewhat promising, but it is a teaser. Posters look better, but they're only posters. I can't get overly excited because it's six months away and I need to see something a little longer than a minute. No Travolta or Jane? Sounds good

I just hope at one point the Punisher Shouts out "THIRTEENTH!!!!"

Finally, you idiots are starting to recognize the positives of Ray Stevenson's look. Once you also get a dose of his acting, you'll realize how awesome this guy is. He could have even pulled off the white gloves/boots look, but so far they're not disappointing in the least. Bring on Jigsaw!!

The Punisher with Thomas Jane was really the second one but no one counts the crap fest of a movie the first one was.(Dolph Lundgren = horrible actor, not the Punisher)

I have to admit that those posters look pretty cool. However, the trailer that was released a while ago was pretty awful.
I REALLY liked the Thomas Jane Punisher and think it's highly underrated.

THIS DUDE ROCKS!!!!!!!! I am so looking forward to this one. I agree that Thomas Jane did the best he could, but the comparison between the two Punisher movies will be like the difference between the two Hulk movies. Sometimes it is good to be second.

I just can't get into this Punusher! i swear he looks like an old washed up Segal! And in the trailer viewed recently, he just sounds like Cheese cake pie! Jeesh! I think I am going to miss Jane! Definitely not Dolph, but Maybe Jane!

I offended some people on the boards with my avid backing of Ray Stevenson as the punisher. He is way better than Jane and his overall demeanor and stature make for a more realistic, sociopath punisher. When i think of an origin for the punisher, I need to believe that this guy is waging a real war and could put a bullet in his own head like in the comics. Jane, while i liked him, just wasnt the punisher. I'm pumped for all the comic movies but this is the one thats going to be the real surprise. Lexi Alexander is going to Deliver the Punisher...Finally!
