Screw the "Legions of Super heros" Now make a direct to DVD batman/Superman movie (Worlds Finest) that will ROCK.

It kinda sucks that its ending. Even though its not the best DC Cartoon, it still is enjoyable and fun to watch.

can anybody tell me one good comic book cartoon show on right now???

Posted by: Michael on March 12, 2008 at 12:01:14

Yeah, that cartoon was okay.It was entertaining
but I'd rather watch an episode of TEEN TITANS.
I never even heard of some of the characters
from that series.Like Lightning Lad,and Bouncing Boy.I really won't be sad to see it go,it was an okay program, but I'll be looking forward to seeing what their new stuff will be.

the end of legion sucks.. they should have brought in different characters like Wildfire, Dawnstar, Ultra Boy, Mon-el, made them regular characters instead of focusing on Clone-El.. I guess the Superboy lawsuit really threw a wrench into some of the things they wanted to do, but I think the producers could have handled it differently..

Oh well,
The Legion Of Superheroes was ok, it was good til the last drop. But I think they should've stuck to the original a bit. It was a little kooky. Time to put out of animated movies out there. Oh by the way they should do something with the teen titan its really bad. I don't like the animation on that either.

you get a good site like this , superherohype, and you get morons posting retarded remarks like "im second ****face". why? do you think your totally awesome cool dudes you guys are pothetic losers who have a small brain and a big mouth stick to the topic, even though im not . but they need to make a batman cartoon like spawn was get Mcfarlen (spelling) on it and make it dark

Posted by: Mr.J on March 12, 2008 at 12:07:19

Huh, guess I was sick this week. LOL Anyway, not popular enough to keep up an ongoing animated series. Nobody in recent generations knows who the Legion is anyhow, trying just to play up the young "Superboy" anyway.

That series was a horrible, I prefer the old Justice League over that terrible excuse for animation. Why don't they just show reruns of Batman:TAS or Justice League?

Posted by: Chris on March 12, 2008 at 12:12:57

This can be great news. With this and The Batman ending all of the characters will be availible for the next DC show which is supposily be a "The Brave and the Bold" show. This will especially great if it is connected to the DCAU and we get Kevin Conroy back as Batman.

Another batman cartoon? Nice, keep them coming. LoSH was a fun show, but i think it has run its course. What I would really like to see is a serious attempt at teen titans.
Also I hope they make a Question movie.

Does anyone remember the announcement on this site last year that said the WB was going to be showing educational programming and all of these cartoons were going to be scrapped anyway? What happened to that?

Posted by: Carlos on March 12, 2008 at 12:33:58

Hardly surprising, Legion of Super-Heroes was a lame attempt at making a futuristic version of Teen Titans but with Superman.

Why they replaced Teen Titans, a show that at the very least lasted 5 seasons with LOSH is beyond me.

Everytime DC cancels a cartoon series I feel that happens before it's time (except Batman TAC and Superman which both had good long runs). I think it's a shame because DC cartoons are the best comic cartoons and I feel that cartoons is what DC does best. Their live action movies (except the 1st Batman and Batman Begins)haven't been that good and the continuity in the comics is so convoluted it's hard to follow. DC's cartoons are well done and give digestable pieces of the vast DC universe. With Legion and The Batman (according to Chris) being cancelled, I hope what ever DC puts out next will continue to be good and this time will last.

This is only happening because 4Kids is taking over the CW's morning block. How fantastic...now we'll be able to watch terrible, derivitive japanese cartoons on Fox and the CW at the same time. And just as saturday morning cartoons were starting to turn the corner back to quality stories, instead of terrible overdubs...

Posted by: batman4life on March 12, 2008 at 12:58:31

yo...the wolf...first off superman is not better than batman and in every animated outing theyve been in batman has been better portrayed and has had better animated shows...the batman show is pretty decent but kevin conroy will always be the voice of batman, now is the time to get him back

Posted by: Covenant on March 12, 2008 at 13:14:43

@batman4life

Overall your right however Supes in Justice League was fantastic.

I'd love to see DC expand it's shows to cover characters that are lesser known to the public at large. What hey have to do is stop trying to reinvent the wheel or cater to the toy industry so much. Let Mattel figure out how to market and sell superhero figures and just concentrate on creating good shows. The Batman and Legion of Superheroes were just simply not good shows. Legion never even made it to merchandising, and I'm pretty sure the sluggish sales of Teen Titans merch is one of the things that pushed that show to an early grave. Hell, JLU probably would have fallen far shorter of it's aired episode count if it hadn't been for how vocal the fans were
