Ok, I'm excited now. I wouldn't go as far as saying awesome new image. It looks like the last time it made the cover. I'll wait to see the inside.

Count on Empire as usual to deliver some of the first official pics of a super hero film! I can't wait to see their Thor pic!

Cool image, but nothing new. What really excite me on this cover was Russel/Ridley ROBIN HOOD!

Posted by: chilipalmer on November 24, 2009 at 11:02:55

Cool!

Also cool looking is Robin Hood movie (bottom left corner of magazine)....why....because Crow is an ass kicker (plus he will sound more british than tin-cup did), and because riddley scott is british...so they get the robin hood lore.

I agree about a THOR cover. Empire rocks.

I WANT CAPTAIN AMERICA News!

in the words of Russell Crow"s Maximus.....
...strength & honor lads.

That's cool. Definately would love to see more pics of the other characters though.

That does look pretty bad ass. Iron Man is probably the best looking super hero translated from the comics to the big screen. And I say that as a Batman fan.

and ANOTHER Robin Hood movie? I dunno...

Awesome

Posted by: Ken Barlow on November 24, 2009 at 11:24:28

SWEET!!! But we realy need some CAPTAIN AMERICA news

Posted by: Marvel guy on November 24, 2009 at 11:29:24

so it says "new suit" but thats the same suit... if it is new the changes aren't enought to advertise it as "new"

still tho this movie will be awesome!

Posted by: J Smith on November 24, 2009 at 11:32:39

Sweet!!!

Will Empire actually have news on a hero thats named "Captain America" - isn't Empire magazine european? Remember only Americans are interested in Captain America.

This looks like every other image ever used for Iron Man.
I'd rather have a pic of THOR or at least his hammer.

@ WHAM
The Batman "costume" is horrible. And I am also a Batman fan.

Posted by: greenecho on November 24, 2009 at 11:56:20

cool pic.......

to those who believe cap is only loved by americans.... your wrong, if only americans liked cap then they wouldve gotten rid of him because of a small fanbase.

Posted by: WHAM!! on November 24, 2009 at 11:56:51

@ meso soup

Yes. Yes it is. Although it's grown on me. I'd still rather see something less padded.

They could have really screwed up Iron Man's suit but it really came out amazing. I guess they still have time to screw it up though.

I usuALLY don't give a crap about B.O. but I have a very strong feeling that IM2 will beat up New Moon and Dark Knight and send them home to their mamas.

SSSSSSSSSSPPPPPPPPPPPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: IronFan72 on November 24, 2009 at 12:47:53

Looks awesome, Iron Man 2 will be very good, whether or not in sets any records at the Box Office it yet to be seen, I hope so, but I am a Iron Man homer, but it will be tough to overtake The Dark Knight and New Moon.

this is the correct shape
