3rd... AWWWW! wait! Garry Shandling is in this movie? wth?

#58! AND MY COMMENT IS:

You had BETTER done a good job playing Rhodes, Cheadle! I have an emotional investment on that character, okay? Okay.

Posted by: Example on October 1, 2009 at 12:27:02

Cheadle is more than a competent actor, and he should undoubtedly bring the emotional acting depth that Terrance Howard is not capable of. Combine that with the awesome suit, and you've got a winner. This was an excellent choice.

There's no doubt Cheadle will rock as Rhodey/War Machine. Few actors would be worthy to step into the shoes vacated by Terence Howard, but Cheadle definitely is.

Who's Robert Downey Jr's wife?

Hey mojo her name is "SUSAN DOWNEY" google her shes pretty hot.

I have to say that if anyone is saying "Man I have been waiting for War Machine since part 1" I oughta slap them.

You don't say that after one movie. You say it after you have been denied two or three times. All the nerdboy/fanboy sect were crying when they didn't do anything with Venom in the first two movies and then when they got their wish, they were crying in their momma's basement when they messed that up too!

Point being...you can't win with the nerd/fanboy sect because they are the biggest packs of spoiled babies ever.

Hell, I bet there were some that wanted Iron Man in his "classic rounded" look.

Pfft...whatever. When we watch this movie, yes, War Machine will be great looking, but there will be some retard on the back row going "I can't believe that they didn't include his laser optic, wrist activated, voice controlled, high tech...toothbrush.

Gimmie a break.

Let me break it down for you "mentally and emotionally" stagnant fanboys...

Each one of these films based on comics is someone's VISION of what they interpret it to be. Sad thing is that it has become less about the story and more about how to wow you into submission with SFX. Most people didn't like Wolverine because it was a STORY based origin, and not what we all remember reading in the comics. It's pretty simple...if you don't like the director's VISION of the character, then save your money. Go out and buy another rolling dice for your Myst game, you knobby headed freaks of nature.

Sarasbigdaddy,

It wasn't because it was a story-based movie that people didn't like Wolverine. People didn't like Wolverine because it was just a terrible movie in general.

Posted by: amendiola on October 1, 2009 at 13:47:57

@Sarasbigdadd

if you take the time to criticize fanboys, through a loong message, break down the "VISION" theory, and you know of iron man's "classic rounded" look. I can only assume that you are sitting in ur mothers basement with some tortinos party pizza rolls, actking like a spoiled baby, all because a "fanboy" didnt say something you like.

Posted by: BigDonte on October 1, 2009 at 13:48:31

If you dont believe in Don Cheadles acting ability, than you obviously dont like good movies.

He is a better actor than Howard and undoubtedly will provide a great supporting role to RDJ. Go rent "traitor" for evidence, hes badass.

Posted by: Sarasbigdaddy on October 1, 2009 at 13:49:31

No, actually people were upset that we didn't get to see "deadpool in his suit", "agent zero in his suit", "why is Victor Creed just wearing that jacket?", "Why is Emma Frost Kayla Silverfox's sister?"....waaa waaa waaa.

It wasn't a terrible movie. It was a let down because we got to see the first three and saw all the characters and SFX with it. Problem with the whole thing is that you can't please the fanboys that are so "stuck" on what they read as a kid that they are unwilling to budge on anything because they treat the source material...AKA THE COMIC BOOK...as near biblical.

They need to get out of their parents basement, save up some money, get a table dance, and grow up.

Don Cheadle is a phenomenal actor. He'll do a great job.

Posted by: Sarasbigdaddy on October 1, 2009 at 13:52:42

amendiola-

I can only believe that this is where you start trying to hurl out your opinion in hopes of getting everyone riled up and then we start calling each other names and such...

Sorry, I am way above it. And I will say this...obviously I ruffled a feather when I meantioned "fanboy", "crying", and "mothers basement".

TDK.

Yes that G4 tv skank wanna-be Olivia Munn is in this movie. I bet, no I know it's going to be some lame G4 Video Game interview thing that now that iron man is mainstream they'll be making a video game about him and he'll be showing up on that lame Attack of the Show show...laaaaame she sucks!!!!! Morgan Webb rules!!!

@ sarasbigdaddy
Damn, I thought I was a douche! I like the Stark/Rhodes line from the courtroom "It's me, I'm here, get used to it." That says it all, they THEMSELVES are telling YOU.. get over it.

Posted by: La Douche on October 1, 2009 at 14:31:27

By YOU, I did'nt mean you sarasb.d. The complaining ones. Still a douche tho.

SPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNN!!!!!

Posted by: Thekid on October 1, 2009 at 15:18:10

lol, fanboys complaining about other fanboys complaining. sarasbigdaddy's arguement makes no sense. War machine was specifically mentioned in Iron Man ("next time"), venom was tossed in Spiderman 3 because of stupid studio execs. I don't see their relation.

i won't comment about "wolverine" because i haven't seen it. but from what i hear people didn't like it because it was just bad (bad special effects, incoherent story line, and too many pointless chars). i may eventually catch it just because i'm a fan of Liev Schreiber.

on the other hand sarasbigdaddy makes a good point about fanboys never being happy. "Watchmen" was pretty much panel for panel from the graphic novel and a lot of people *****ed, but when Chris Nolan makes up his own batman story no one minds. You can't please everyone....

Posted by: meso soup on October 1, 2009 at 16:10:33

So the fact that Wolverine grossed over 360 million worldwide means nobody liked it?

Delusional....

Ps - here's hoping IM's rollerskates makes it into this one!

Posted by: Edgardo rey on October 1, 2009 at 16:16:04

I still think Terrence Howard would've done better as War machine.

Posted by: Patrick Warburton on October 1, 2009 at 16:18:07

TTTTTTTTTTIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!

Posted by: Zaovisier on October 1, 2009 at 16:55:24

hmm, not sure how he'll do, we'll see
