USAY Today has published more photos from Iron Man 2 featuring Gwyneth Paltrow, whose Pepper Potts gets a promotion to head Stark Industries in the sequel, and director Jon Favreau with Robert Downey Jr. and Don Cheadle. Below are also better-quality versions of photos previously posted.

Guess this makes me first! Didn't really like first movie, not pushed to see new one seems a little childish when compared with Dark Knight

I love Don Cheadle, but Howard owned that role. It'll be weird not seeing him back.

There is not one photo yet that convinces me of this movie. And I'm an incredible hugh fan of the first movie which is in my eyes even better that a certain movie of a guy dressed as a bat (most for it's rewatchability which is hugh. Saw it like 10 times now)
Fortunately, the pictures released for the first movie weren't really that great either. So I'm waiting for a teaser. Or even better, the actual movie.

This character is being so well done. The first movie was fun, spectacular, and perfect in every way for a comic-movie. The sequel is going to have to really work at beating it, but I think it's in the right hands. These pics just look outstanding to me.

I'm not sure what number I am, so I won't mention it. However, some good news for most of us: School starts soon and many of the pre-teen 'posters' that get on our nerves mentioning TDK every chance they get and writing 'first' will no longer be on here as much. It's the small things to look forward to that make life worth living.

exactly tony, they can't even be compared. so why compare them? why compare anything really. any movie can look bad or great with comparisons. it all depends on what you compare it to.

BY THE WAY, SumKindaNice, HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A SINGLE MOVIE WITH MICKEY ROURKE IN IT? HIS CASTING PRETTY MUCH CONFIRMS A TOUGHER AND DEEPER VILLAIN FOR THE FILM.

I just wish the villain wasn't Whiplash. Im hoping the rumors of combining Whiplash with Crimson Dynamo are true. Im hoping Favreau can really jazz him up because Iron Man has probably the worst rogues gallery in all of comics and Whiplash was pretty lame.

Well I like the first movie was ok just how the character of Tony Stark, now for the second it looks like a introduction of more characters and character arks so will see, but the pics looks Great hopefully it does NOT suck like Spider Man 3 which was the worse.....

It would appear that Tony is royally po'd that his car, among other things, was destroyed before he could win the race... that the Widow is doing some espionage at Peppers desk... that Fav has a casual approach to directing... that Tony and DumDum are having a male bonding moment (creepy... what is RDJ looking at?)... and that Cheadle has the physique to match RDJ, and is therefore a more plausible War Machine than Howard.

Not ONE explosion in any of these pictures!? How is this movie going to be any good with all that plot and acting and stuff!? I'm very disappointed...(heh heh, made myself laugh!)

My mistake...there may have been an explosion before that first picture...there is hope yet!

I like Don Cheadle a lot but I really didn't want to see him as Rhodey. I didn't like Terrence Howard when he first started to bust onto the scene but I really liked him in Iron Man and when I heard that he was getting the boot in favor of Cheadle I was pretty down. Now that I see Don Cheadle as Rhodey... I'm even more down.

I am releasing this information here after I've been sworn to secrecy.....

Iron Man 2 will have 2 major plot points one is the obvious Justin Hammer & Whiplash stealing secrets via the Black Widow and the battle the almost kills Stark and the War Machine saves the day along with Iron Man at the end but the 2nd major plot point will be..........

the rise of the Avengers........

We all saw the Captain America shield in Iron Man 1 right..........well this movie will dive into that....now something that is over looked when the Reactor exploded at the end of Iron Man it caused something to happen that involves....you guessed it...THOR...this movie is an full fledged Avengers origin movie..you heard it hear first for those smart enough to listen......
