UPDATE #3: You can click on the hi-res cover below for a bigger version and there's a better-quality Robert Downey Jr./Tony Stark photo below it as well.

UPDATE #2: We now have a better version of the second photo of Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow!
UPDATE #1: Entertainment Weekly has posted a clearer version of the cover shot, though it's still pretty small. They also have quotes from the cast on the characters in the sequel. Here's several excerpts:
When Marvel Studios first announced the sequel, no one was sure what the movie would be about. Downey, director Jon Favreau, screenwriter Justin Theroux, and the rest of the creative team struck upon the idea of introducing two very different foes for Stark. On one side is Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell), a fast-talking weapons manufacturer who fancies himself the next Tony Stark; on the other, Vanko, who, while incarcerated in a Russian prison, creates his own battle-suit, which shoots devastating, whip-like beams. Hammer and Whiplash join forces to take down Downey’s character, Tony Stark. Rourke, for his part, wanted to instill some lightness into the role of the heavy. "I told Favreau, 'I don't want to just play him as a one-dimensional p----,'" he says. "He let me have a cockatoo, who I talk to and get drunk with while I’m making my suit."
Adding more flesh and blood to the new movie, Scarlett Johansson joined the cast as Stark’s mysterious new assistant, Natasha, who has an alter ego of her own, Black Widow. That introduction inevitably sparks romantic tension between Stark and former assistant Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), who’s been promoted to CEO of Stark Industries. "The men want it to be, like, 'Ooh, the girls are fighting over Tony,' but it's not as standard as that," says Paltrow. "There's a weird male catfight fantasy. Downey agrees. He believes what differentiates the franchise from other superhero series can be summarized as follows: "We're horny. Not, like, can't-bring-your-kids horny, but just…horny."
ORIGINAL STORY: Yes, we know, these screenshots are really crappy, but... they are the first photos of Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow in Iron Man 2! The pics, which were shown during "Entertainment Tonight," come from Friday's issue of Entertainment Weekly, so we should have some hi-res versions of all of them soon, stay tuned. Opening in theaters on May 7, 2010, the Jon Favreau-directed sequel is wrapping up filming this week as well.

I can still see the picture, kind of, can you please make it just a little more pixilated? That would be super.

The poor quality makes Scarlett Johannson look like Maggie Gyllenhaal. Looking forward to the high-res shots. I'm really glad they kept the bracelets too.

Whoa! Just like the freakin' comics. This will be awesome. From the blurred image you can tell it's Black Widow but you cannot tell that it's Scarlett Johansson. Good Job peeps At Marvel.

ScarJo almost looks unrecognizable as the Black Widow.

Wow... these pics aren't exactly crystal clear, are they? The top pic is so fuzzy that Roberty Downy Jr. looks like Tom Welling with a goatee. But anything about this movie is awesome at this point. The first film was so much fun, and at the same time so well done, it was truly my favorite superhero movie of all time (and I'm not a huge fan of the character). Of course, TDK was great, but I wouldn't call it a "fun trip to the movies" like Iron Man. This movie will be even better... and we'll get to drool over Scarlet Johansson as she pain-stakingly trys a Russian accent. But seriously, anyone who says that Scarlet isn't completely bone-a-licious is out of their minds!

yeah, where'd all the Scarlett Johannson haters go? i guess they're too busy crying over green lantern now.

No kidding.
Ryan Reynolds is good, but him pulling double duty as GL and DeadPool is just not right.
Thankfully, Iron Man 2 is going to be AWESOME!

this is going to be a good thing

Oh great, they dyed her hair red. Now everyone is going to get Black Widow played by Scarlett Johannson confused with Scarlett played by Rachel Nichols in GI Joe. x^p

Hopefully Reynolds will force Fox to trash Deadpool. I don't even know why fans are backing Deadpool given Fox's last comic films. Oh wait, it's because they're Deadpool fans. The most undeserving character for a movie. All the Deadpool fans are probably the same fans who think TDK sucked except for Joker.
