"ooooo its a poster lets criticize the movie thats not done yet"

Hahaha. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Yeah, they will probably change the poster as we get closer to the release. They did this same thing with Revenge of the Fallen, and now that movie's poster looks crazy epic.

AWESOME!!!!!!11!!!ONE!!!!

I think that the designer needs a pat on the back for figuring how to occupy that much dead space with absolutely nothing.

WTF IS THIS S*** it's overly simplistic and not in a good way

Posted by: GreenNinjaN on June 23, 2009 at 02:54:09

This looks like a fake in my opinion. It would be super easy to make a poster like this in Photoshop with the already existing posters. And why the hell would they release it only in Amsterdam? What so special about the Cinema Expo to warrant the premier of a teaser poster?

ehhhhhhhhh

Let me get some opinions. What if Christopher Nolan directed The Avengers? Good idea? Would it beat Titanic? Do you guys think Avengers has the potential to beat Titanic if done right? I think it does if ALL main actors were on board, and Hulk was a huge part.

What do you guys think?

Wow, when I read "Iron Man poster" I thought: man, this will be sweet!
And then it's just a title ... well, guess it's too early for a real poster. But there was really no reason for publishing that one.
Anyway...

I pretty much agree with everyone else, this looks like ****, but im still psyched for the movie, cant wait.

@****** and batfriggintastic

nobody criticized the movie. nobody at all. Relax, guy.

They said the poster sucked, and I'd have to agree. I saw the headline, got really excited and was very let down. But it's just a teaser, making the non-geeks aware of it's release so you can't expect too much more. Although it would've been nice to get a shot of something.

Very creative. They could have at least put a silhouette of some sort of the suit or perhaps his helmet.

Posted by: eelyajekim on June 23, 2009 at 03:31:21

Generic, plain, simple, dull, lifeless, basic, but above all its just BORING. No headline, no blurred image, nada, zip, zilch. This puts the "fake" Spider-Man 4 poster to shame.

Can't wait for the movie, I know Mickey, Robert, and Gweneth will make this movie great.

This poster makes no bones about what it's selling.

Posted by: XSawedToPiecesX on June 23, 2009 at 04:14:45

I could make that in ClipArt on word lol. It's not really anything except to say Iron Man 2 is coming. That's it.

Posted by: Ben1984 on June 23, 2009 at 04:29:27

Oh wow who would of thought it would say IRON MAN 2! SHOCKING! ****!

Posted by: fallen on June 23, 2009 at 04:32:12

maybe this is what they are trying to do, lowing expectations, so ppl will be surprised when they watch the movie. Kind of like the 1st movie. walked in with no expectation, walked out amazed.
