there needs to be some hot soundtracks put out with these movies, not just the score.. how do you attract girls by pumping Danny Elfman in your ride?

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE MARVEL NEWEST RELEASE. WHEN WILL DC COMICS EVER GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER AND CREATED A DC HEROES THAT WILL MADE US WANTED TO RUSH TO THE MOVIES AND PUT OUR ELEVEN DOLLAR. GOOD LUCK TO NEXT YEAR.

Obviously the news coming out of Marvel and DC about their movies must be slow...

Thanks SHH for at least keeping up informed on EVERYTHING comic related....

Sweet. I really enjoyed The Incredible Hulk's score.

Curious to know the sound they'll give Thor.

What's with including "Wolverine and The X-Men" as an upcoming series? I've been watching it every Saturday for awhile now.

If someone has touched upon this already, my apologies, I haven't read what any else has said, I'm just swinging through.

Actors for upcoming Marvel slate

Thor - Alexander Skarsgård - 6'4" 32yrs old Swedish. Currently has a role in HBO's True Blood

Captain America - Paul Walker - 6'3" 35yrs old See role in Flags of Our Fathers.

The question I'd also like answered is which additional characters will be choosen to add some diversity to the Avengers.ie Ms. Marvel, Luke Cage, Scarlett Witch, Vision, Black Panther....

Also its seems odd they're releasing Spideman 4/5 at nearly the same time as the Avengers. Crossover?

Posted by: Bealmeran Hero on November 26, 2008 at 13:47:46

Wolverine and the X Men is not out in the US yet, it comes out in January I beileve.

I thought Avengers was only going to be the original ones, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and maybe Hulk? Atleast no one else has been mentioned for it. I would love to see all of them, but all the charectors are played by big named actors and would cost half the budget on just paying them.

Posted by: Clarification on November 26, 2008 at 14:16:49

Well they're not DIRECTLY responsible for the scores, but they do offer a "consultancy role" and work to "exploit their clients' work" (their words) through associations, etc. Still, they're not exactly hatching all of the ideas for scores. That's the composer's job.

That being said, the Iron Man score was balls ugly. Redundant hard rock riffs? I can't remember The Incredible Hulk's. Different composers, I know. But Cherry Lane aren't helping to create memorable themes.

You can watch the complete season of Wolverine and the Xmen in spanish or portuguese online not on youtube wasen't able to seen it in english.. So far looks awesome can's wait for the 2nd season... Ciao

The Dude,

Not likely I agree, but at what point does/did the original contract with Sony expire? I would think Marvel with its success and being the overall holder of the rights to Spider-man would have negogiated for more control, and Sony possibly would have seen the value of Marvel expanding the marketing and popularity of their assets in the franchise.
