Cool covers, though generic. The single disc cover is the best one.
They should've gotten Drew Struzan to paint something bada$$.

Look... I liked Dark Knight too, but get off him already! This is an Iron Man thread people! Iron Man was perfectly made, perfectly cast, and actually FUN. So was The Incredible Hulk, in my opinion. The Dark Knight was a great movie, perfectly cast, yet not at all FUN. I loved it, and it was an excellent crime drama, just not a fun superhero movie. Superheroes can be dark, but they are an escape for us who have to live in this crappy real world. This Iron Man DVD set looks really, really good and will be a best-seller for sure. I think people are thirsty for an 'escape' right now. Iron Man was just that. It accomplished all it needed to for the fan-boys/girls by sticking so closely with the source material, and at the same time was fun for all ages and audiences without over-stepping the 'campyness' that other superhero movies have done all too often (i.e...Spider-Man dancing like an emo-special-ed-student, Lex Luthor desiring yet even more real-estate, Daredevil getting into a flirtatious fight in front of a bunch of kids at a park with a chick he just met, or Mr. Fantastic getting funky at his bachelor party)! I too, look forwrd to this DVD release and will be adding it to my collection. Thanks for listening - I'm out.

one of the top 3 greatest movies of the year.

Looks great! Looks like it'll be chock full 'o goodies. For me, Iron Man was the best movie- going experience of the summer (with TIH a close second). Don't have blu-ray yet, so it'll be just plain ol' DVD for me.

I can't believe the haters here. Iron-man was a kick-ass good time at the movies. I'm definitely getting the 2 disc set.
And while the TDK was great. Iron Man was a lot more fun. So sue me for enjoying myself. That Tony Stark knows how to party and save the day.
Poor Bruce,he's always brooding and never getting laid. And when he should save the girl he saves the guy and the girl dies. Then the guy goes nuts and dies too.
Some "hero".(just playing guys.)

can't wait for this. definately buying the bluray edition the day it comes out.
a little off subject, has anyone seen/heard anything about the hulk movie having a different amount of deleted scenes from the single disc to the 3 disc to the blu ray edition??
Posted by: ManhunterProductions on September 5, 2008 at 16:23:50
The Ultimate Edition 2-disc and Blu-ray cover sucks, love the single-disc DVD cover. -SIGH-
Posted by: BenJamin' on September 5, 2008 at 16:29:17
so are we getting a slip cover w/iron man on it and then a dvd cover w/tony stark on it??
Posted by: jrobert on September 5, 2008 at 16:40:55
I like it. When the movie came out back in May I thought that Iron Man looked great. The armour actually looked real.It was exactly how I`d expect Iron Man to look in a live-action world.
Good film. The character was done right by Robert Downey Jr. and
both DVD covers are awesome.

People chill out. Whether you like it or not, you ARE going to get all 4 discs: Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, The Dark Knight and Hellboy 2 so shut the frak up already! None of you guys own a share of Mavel, DC or Dark Horse or any other company so just be thankul that this year was the turning point in history of comic book movies. Not just for DC comics or Marvel comics but all comic book movies. Personally I enjoyed The Incredible Hulk the most but thats just because he's been my favourite hero for ages. That doesn't mean I'm going to hate on the TDK or IM. Both of them were phenomenal movies and I'm grateful for it. Even a dumb Hulk fan understands this. Why can't you?

Ding, ding, ding! Anyway, the cover looks straight butta. They should of did the Hulk cover similar to that. The action sequence on the cover of the Hulk is distracting to say the least. But I'm diggin' this Ironman joint. and as far as you TDK ball lickin', d!!!ck ridin' homo-erotic Batman freaks, the thread is Ironman not TDK(which was a crazy dope movie), stick to the script home-skillets. I'm pretty sure the next post up will be about how much money TDK has made up to date since they do that everytime someone goes out to see TDK for the 8th time. Be easy. Nice work Marvel, fix the Hulks.

Oh yeah, what up Max.
