i doubt one scene will make it less sucky
it didnt live up to my expectations & the Hulk looks like a video game
Edward Norton is a great actor and did an admirable job, but when you play Bruce Banner, you can only really give half a performance
it would have been cool to see Norton play a different superhero, i dont know which one though

ok, was is Ironman or Incredible Hulk that had the deleted scene w/ Cap. America shield in it?
Posted by: erok on October 9, 2008 at 17:40:29
Cap America's shield appeared in Iron Man but there was supposedly a deleted scene with the future Cap America in Hulk
And what is wrong with some of the commenters on this site, are they all 8 yrs old?

Just like they did with Iron Man, they're releasing this to promote the DVD, darknight7.

Build a premature reboot and the target audience will come ... with the first message board post.

That deleted scene was good. More character moments and development like that would have made TIH a far better film. I really wish they'd have done an extended cut rather than just adding the new opening.

can't wait for this dvd. also can't wait for incredible hulk sequel news of some sort they left us hangin with the leader and we need closure.
Posted by: jj on October 9, 2008 at 19:08:30
Wow they really should have put the scene in, because there was never a scene explaining where he was at the time and his thoughts on BRUCE. Man MARVEL execs are idiots for having them cut that out.
Posted by: jj on October 9, 2008 at 19:09:32
Yeah the movie really lacked character development and this would have added more depth to it.

awesome. loved both hulk films and can't wait to own this on dvd.

That deleted scene was AWES0ME!! I dunno...maybe I'm biased (see my handle, lol) but I really hope an extended cut of this movie is released in the near future with the cut scenes integrated into the movie.

This movie was really great. Those who don't like it, I'm sorry you have no taste. The acting was awesome... all the way around. From Betty Ross to Thunderbolt these actors gave us a great performance. The CGI was fantastic - I mean, he's a freakin' grean, giant! How much more real do you need for him to look? Some people are so critical - they put down CGI like it's the easiest thing to do. Whether you are talking about Hulk, King Kong, Smeeeeegle, The Human Torch or any of the CGI things we've been blessed with in the past few years - we're 'blessed'. We could still be subjected to the effects of 'SPAWN' or Daredevil or 'The Flash'. Remember how awful some of that stuff was? Remember watching an hour long, pitiful show and then only seeing 12 seconds of the Flash? Those of you complaining that Hulk looks like a video game... are you freakin' serious? Have you seen the video games lately? It's not like he looks like freakin' Dig-Dug out there pushin' over tanks. We're talking about a COMIC-BOOK movie, where the hero comes to freakin' life! Why don't all you haters pull your heads out of your respective rectums and watch this movie with your eyes open!?! Do us all a favor and go out to your local Blockbuster Video, rent 'The Phantom' or 'Batman & Robin' or 'Catwoman' or one of those old Spider-Man TV movies where he travels to Japan and you have to put up with a two hour crap-fest and get to see 34 seconds of Spidey wearing a 5-inch utility belt, window-screen eyes, and shooting white ropes at Japanese fishermen! Until you've done all that, keep your freakin' pie-holes shut, because you've no idea what us honest fans have had to put up with over the years! By the way... today's word: "freakin'".

Thanks fellas... I just had to get that off my freakin' chest!

Can't wait! I really enjoyed TIH in theaters and hope the 2-disc version gives us Hulk-loads of extras. I think it beat the living crap out of Ang Lee's "Hulk" hands down.

As much as I love TIH TV show and as much as it'll always have a special place in my heart as what first introduced me to comics, let's not forget Lou Ferrigno's green paint coming off on the bad guys' clothes as he threw them in the exact same fashion across a room for the 150th time, I'll take a CG Hulk any day of the week over that.

When are we going to see that deleted scene where Banner goes to commit suicide up north and we get to see Captain America floating in some ice? Anyone?
Posted by: General Ross on October 9, 2008 at 20:15:16
Why couldn't they just incorporate these scenes into the movie instead of separating them from it?
Stupid.

I really enjoyed this flick. Sure it wasn't quite as sexy and polished as Iron Man or TDK, but thats okay, its the damn hulk. Hulk isn't generally a superhero movie, its a monster movie that just has origins in comic books. I think they did an excellent job translating him and making him fit really well within the superhero movie world that marvel is building. I thought the leader stuff was great teaser material, but seriously? I know you guys don't want a movie with the leader as a villain in it. I mean...that actor with a giant forehead sending out little robots after the hulk? You think that is gonna look anything other than ridiculous on film? No, The Leader is the kind of guy that can work in say...an animated Hulk 1.5 sequel. I don't really think we need another hulk film after this. Who do you want him to fight? Wendigo? No, having Hulk in The Avengers ought to be enough of a sequel. I dont think Hulk needs another solo movie for a while, personally. I love the character, I just don't see what is left to do with him that is separate from the Avengers.

This was a fun movie. I really enjoyed it. Hopefully we get a sequel. The fight in the end was nuts!

From what I've witnessed, a lot of people have different views on TIH. Personally, i think it was a great movie, but its hard to follow Iron Man, not to mention being released with such hype of the coming Dark Knight movie. But for people to call it a bad movie is absurd, it was just fine as it was; and the extra scenes that were cut out from Norton's version will make it even better. I mean, they cut out a lot of Norton's that contributed to character development (like in the deleted scene we've already seen) and backstory. I, for one, can't wait for the release, with all of the extra footage it'll be like an entirely different movie... (and the near-suicide scene is the first 5 minutes of Norton's version)
