what happened to the 70 minutes of cut footage?

Posted by: K-Gun on August 27, 2008 at 11:04:52

ME ~ They are saving the 70 min. extra footage for the re-release.

Posted by: Stormer on August 27, 2008 at 11:06:20

$30!? For a single disc? Lame.

I'll spot 5 bucks and get 200% more.

Posted by: Mr. Green on August 27, 2008 at 11:11:37

Hoping that the "deleted scenes" IS the 70 minute cut-footage.
Unless they re-release it like they did with DD in a director's cut format.

Fingers crossed

is that kinda fast to come to dvd? it's still in theatres isn't it?

Posted by: Ughhhhhhhh!!!! on August 27, 2008 at 11:18:53

Does anybody know if there will be a Ed Norton cut with the 70 minutes of Banner sub plot storyline?

Posted by: FireFly's Enigma on August 27, 2008 at 11:20:10

I believe those who are saying that the 70 minutes of the film will been seen on the directors cut. That DVD will most likely be released 4-6 months after this one.

I bought Reservoir Dogs and inside was a sheet about the the ten year special edition coming in July 2002. I still have that sheet. It was like Miramax just slapped me in the face.

So, why 3 discs exactly?

Posted by: Aeghast on August 27, 2008 at 11:27:03

$234.6 million ONLY..? Why people don't like the HULK? He's fun

Posted by: fg on August 27, 2008 at 11:27:36

This film was ****, it made ang lee's film look like citizen kane

Posted by: Anjow on August 27, 2008 at 11:30:20

FG's argument would be worth something if Citizen Kane was a good movie. THAT is a crappy movie.

This movie is exactly what Hulk should be. A giant green monster smashing stuff up. The "problems" for Banner can only go so deep before they get rediculous and boring, like Ang Lee did. They hit the mark this time if you ask me.

I LOVEd this movie and I can't wait to see the Avengers fight him (Hulk).

Posted by: SteveG on August 27, 2008 at 11:45:08

Can't wait! This was a great summer for superhero fans. The Incredible Hulk was very well done and immensely enjoyable. I liked it almost as much as Iron Man and possibly even more than The Dark Knight. I'll be getting the three-disc version.

Posted by: Sambora on August 27, 2008 at 11:45:30

Chip . . .

3 discs are to help you feel a tiny, little bit better about spending $30 when it really should cost you about half that.

but, ... you all know we'll probably buy the 3 disc version. Maybe we should buy the single disc version and then NetFlix the extras DVDs ... watch'em once or twice (which is really all you'd probably watch them anyway) and save ourselves a few dollars to spend on popcorn and sodie-pop when we go to the picture show to see Wolverine.

hmmmmm . . . . . . ...

Posted by: Demode on August 27, 2008 at 11:45:52

Hulk is still playing in theatres hwere I live, so its still making money. The world wide gross should be CLOSER TO $300 million once it comes out on DVD.

Posted by: Winter Soldier on August 27, 2008 at 12:02:32

I really enjoyed this movie. And even if I hadn't, I would buy the DVD just to see the alternate beginning and catch a glimpse of Captain America.

Posted by: BenJamin' on August 27, 2008 at 12:06:00

That is a hideous cover for the movie. The “back to back” poster would’ve been so much cooler. I’ve got that poster hanging in my basement where my bar, home theater and movies all are.

Posted by: adamantium g on August 27, 2008 at 12:10:26

Sambora, I'd love to agree with you, but if Fox doesn't work to reacha settlement with WB over Watchmen, I won't be seeing wolverine until I find it in a used bin. Rupert Murdock can go to hell. Marvel needs all their properties back to develope in house to finally make them good. Love Incredible Hulk and Iron Man.

2nd favorite movie of the summer

Posted by: MIKEY on August 27, 2008 at 12:12:28

I BUY ALL MY SUPERHERO FLICS AT WALMART WHEN THEY'RE RELEASED ON DVD AND THEY ARE NEVER AS MUCH AS THE SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE.IF THE SPECIAL EDITION 2-DISC DVD IS LISTED AS $35.00
THEN THEY'LL HACE IT @ WALMART FOR $20-$25.00.

Posted by: Steelsheen on August 27, 2008 at 12:27:19

alternate beginning huh? that would be something i'd like to see.

Posted by: tonamania on August 27, 2008 at 12:27:45

I'm in the Blu-Ray for the picture quality, but do the extras seem lame or is it me?

Posted by: Air Force One on August 27, 2008 at 12:30:48

Must...have...DVD.
