God even on the cover The Hulk looks fake too.

This movie was just okay, and that was because the last scene of the movie. Not really a fan of the Hulk I guess.

looks awesome, cant wait for blu-ray

I thought this movie was very good, not great, but still one of the best movies of the summer. It's 2nd right after a tie between Iron Man and The Dark Knight.

Pretty Sweet, Think They Could've Done Better Though

I wish the cover of the DVD was the poster...the one with Hulk's back...and Banner facing us walking (with his back to the Hulk's back) love that poster...not a fan of this cover...it looks like a videogame cover

Posted by: Mr. Boys on August 14, 2008 at 02:04:40

What the ****? Why doesn't The Hulk look real?! It's like they've never seen a big green monster before. GOSH!

this was a fun movie. very entertaining.

I walked out after the movie thinking: what the hell was ang lee thinking?

Let's just hope Leterrier relents on his previous statements of the theatrical cut being the "final cut" he stands by and releases a more rounded version (which I don't know would have theatrically to be honest), which puts the rest of the story back in (seeing Doc Samson's story cut down to nearly nothing, complete with a rumored "hint" to his future according to Ty Burrell was just sad). And I'd love to know if there was an actual Cap pseudo-cameo or not once and for all (Leterrier's flip flopped on that one terribly in interviews).

I'd also love to see some of the cut (but shot) elements from the the script like Banner's arctic suicide attempt would nice to see back in their context (as that kind of sets up the logic behind the helicopter drop). Maybe even more Blonsky and Sterns character moments?

Hopefully the three disc is an "ours", "theirs", and all the stuff in between type release.

yes dknight7, i thought that poster was good, with dramatic effect.

Posted by: ShadowVoyd on August 14, 2008 at 02:08:23

"would have worked theatrically". And "It would be nice to see it back in it's context". This really needs an edit button.

Let's see... 9 feet tall and green... OF COARSE HE LOOKS FAKE. Get over it.
It turned out to be a thousand times better than Ang Lee's and much closer to the books AND the tv show than anyone could have hoped (Thank GOD they didn't drag Rick Jones in there).
No, it wasn't the greatest movie of all time but it's the best Hulk we've ever seen on a screen.
I love how you people ***** just to hear yourselves speak.

I really enjoyed this movie and I plan on getting the DVD, but I'm not sure it needs the 3 disc treatment.

Posted by: Soulshadow on August 14, 2008 at 02:10:29

"course" .... Damn sleep deprived brain

I thought The Incrdible Hulk was damn solid film, overall 3rd to Dark Knight and Iron Man. I can't believe that the reason it didn't do as well as some people wanted it to is because of the last Hulk movie people (the movie going public) can't be that jaded. I'm guessing the dvd will come out a few weeks/just under a month after Iron Man.

It Looks Like's Comic Book Art =/

Posted by: Aaric on August 14, 2008 at 02:15:39

Batdude247,

It's cover art. Meaning it's artwork. Although it's not what I would have done, I'm not going to bash on the cover for it's "fake" look. They could have used a still from the film but since they didn't, I'm sure they didn't want the same digital artists to waste time on a silly cover.

I still think that The Incredible Hulk smashes Ang Lee's 2003 Hulk up really good.. sure it has its flaws.. but bottomline.. it was a good movie. Ed Norton was great and I can't wait to see him in Avengers. The Incredible Hulk is up there with the great comic book adaptations movies... unlike its 2003 predecessor.. that everyone still enjoy bashing. c'mon.. Hulk fighting a 3D poodle.. someone really wanted to see that? All I can say is "Hulk Smash".. and can't wait for Iron Man 2, Captain America, Avengers and Thor (still trying think that Ant-Man would make a good movie... but I can't really see how!). Marvel Studios are trying to make their fans happy.. so far it's working!

I will buy it, but that cover is horrible.
One of the worst I have ever seen.
I love the movie, but man that is just awful.

Fake-looking wouldn't be how I describe the DVD cover. It looks...incomplete. Yes, the movie poster should've been used.
