nice!!! here's some news guys....
few days back, "The Incredible Hulk" director Louis Leterrier admitted that the initial rough cut of the film (the assembly), the one that he and Edward Norton had their apparent dispute over, ran at about three hours.
Of course the final film is much shorter than that, a breezy 106 minutes, which has resulted in some mixed early reviews and complaints of it being truncated. Letterier has also previously stated that he does not intended to do an alternate or 'extended' cut of the film either.
Now in an interview with Collider, he reveals that he intends for the eventual Blu-ray and DVD release film to contain all that cut footage - a total of 70 minutes of footage not included in the final theatrical cut including two scenes shown in the trailers that definitely didn't make the final version of the film.
One of those scenes includes the Captain America cameo says Judao. Whilst the serum is mentioned frequently throughout the film, the crew shot a whole quite dark sequence where Bruce Banner travels to the Arctic Circle and meets up with Captain America.
im gonna see hulk in 6 hours :D its out today in lreland

It bums me out that we'll probably never see the "gamma bomb" origin on film (or Rick Jones for that matter). I get that it's not all that contemporary anymore, but I still wish they'd do it.
That being said, I can't wait to see this tomorrow night! I've built up some fairly high espectations...

i'll let you know how it is lol it sucks the cap scene is cut from the final movie

I wonder if a lot of what we are seeing in these featurettes are part of this 70 minutes and not really footage in the 106 minute theatrical cut.

i cannot understand Letterier and Marvel's decision not cut out Capt. America's cameo in Artic Circle because of the reason that its too dark and serious for the children. What about a 2 giant monsters whooping their asses in the middle of the city? isnt that too over for the children?
what a lame excuse!

i mean CUT OUT..sorry for the grammar

i cant wait!

From what I've read, the arctic scene was "too dark" because it's a scene where Banner gives up on a cure and goes there to commit suicide. And he does this by shooting himself in the head.

that sounds cool and yet nasty. does anyone know if there will be marvel references in the punisher movie??
Posted by: Ausywonder on June 12, 2008 at 01:32:50
Saw it this morning about 4 hours ago, about 20 people turned up to see it - that's Aussies for ya!
It does has truncated feel to it, ie. theres a few - "what the hell" edit-moments - but it's a Hulk movie, and this is definetly Bruce Banner, so I'm gunna go see it again in an hour and half!
If i'd gone to the Wednesday midnight screening that'd make three viewings - and it still hasn't opened in some parts of the world!

Callous , I don't believe so. It's not a Marvel Studios movie just like Wolverine. I think that Lionsgate has the Punisher...correct me if I am wrong.
Posted by: Callous on June 12, 2008 at 01:36:46
that sucks i'd like to see punisher maybe reference wolverine as a tough ass or something just to show punisher is part of the universe of marvel too.

i love bruce banner to be a fugitive, anyway can't wait to see that it's gonna be one hell of an action packed blast

cant wait man.i have to wait another day

I don't think there's going to be a traditional cameo with Captain America. I think it will be like the shield in Iron Man. Probrably something in the background.
Its not going to be like somebody finding Captain America frozen in ice.

I read that Ed Norton and Louis Leterrier both have cryo-freezed sperm donated by Lou Ferrigno.
Leterrier was caught tossing Lou's salad on the set. Pretty scary stuff.
True storys.

Oh, and by the way...
David Banner (crappy TV series) was turned into the Hulk by bombarding himself with gamma radiation.
Bruce Banner (the real thing) was made into the Hulk by a gamma bomb explosion/emission of gamma radiation.
Why not stick to some semblance of the real story? shesh.
