I just saw the midnight showing and I loved everything about this movie. Right from the start you see how visionary Guillermo Del Toro is by telling the history of the Golden Army with wooden figures. Ron Perlman was awesome as always and Seth MacFarlane did a great job at voicing Johann. This movie had bad a$$ action and visuals, plus, it was funny as hell at some points. I will definitely see this again.

I saw it last night at midnight and I thought it was great. There is a hilarious moment in the film with a couple of six packs of beer. The style of the characters, especiially in some of the hidden worlds is unreal. I thought it was a great movie, I think I actually enjoyed it more than the first one. Definitely worth checking out.

I got to see Hellboy II on Tuesday at an Advanced Screening. And let me tell ya, it was Amazing! Ron Perlman was Awesome as Hellboy(stop calling him Red), Doug Jones' voice was much better suited for Abe Sapien(The Drunk Scene was Classic) and Johann Kraus was a Great Addition to the Group(The minute I heard his voice, I thought of Klaus the Gold Fish. I know Seth doesn't do his voice). My Favorite Scene was the Troll Market. My eyes were racing across the screen to see what Monsters were thrown at us next. Go See this Movie ASAP, if you liked the First one, you'll Love this Flick. Mike Mignola and Guillermo Del Toro are Gods amongst Men...Ah, Crap!

I wouldn't be surprised if this movie beat out the Dark Knight

Posted by: Srylat on July 11, 2008 at 12:42:52

I enjoyed it a lot. Grant there were others in the theater with me that voiced their opinion otherwise at the end... but I still thought it was a winner.

Just to save people the time, unlike the first one, there isn't anything during the credits or after them. That was the only disappointment I had hehe.

I'm going to see it Saturday. I hope it's as good as all the Space Monkeys say it is. This should hold me over until The Dark Knight.

Just got back from seeing it for the 5th time and let me tell ya...it was amazing!

Gotta go, going to see Hellboy 2 again.

Seacrest out!

I liked it alot better than the first one. It just sucks we got to wait for del toro to finsh Hobit before he gets back to Hellboy again.

Real Space Monkey, I would just report them. Steve the Comic Book Artist did it, and they were banned pretty quick, among those who were using my name.

Now, on topic, I'm going to see this film tonight, I'll put my review up this weekend, but I'm more than certain this movie wont disappoint.

This movie kicked ass! I wasn't into the Hellboy series before, but I sure as heck love it now. Really wicked stuff! I'm sure it's not as good as The Dark Knight, but it was worth the time and money for sure!!

Melnutz,

regarding calling HB "Red", it has to do with toy marketing.they cant sell toys whose names have the word "hell" in them, so they go for "Red".

It was alright, but I don't understand why the boy and the whale couldn't be together. Wait...this is the Free Willy board, right?

'Twas very tight! Even better than the first and I loved the first one.....
