First 4 Minutes From Green Lantern: First Flight

MTV has posted the first four minutes from the animated Green Lantern: First Flight, coming to Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday, July 28th. The film features the voices of Chris Meloni as Hal Jordan, as well as Juliet Landau (Labella), Michael Madsen (Kilowog), Tricia Helfer (Boodikka) and Victor Garber (Sinestro).

I know we've seen this origin story before, but this is spectacular!
After New Frontier I was hooked on DC animation team, this looks really, really good.
Makes me think of how good the live-action movie will be! I just hope Ryan Reynolds tells MARVEL that he won't play DeadPool - that is just not going to be good for his career.

I sure hope that this is still in post production, because the green lantern transformation didn't moved me at all. Anyway, I'm looking forward yo this movie.

After watching that clip, I'm further convinced that Ryan Reynolds wouldn't make a good Hal Jordan at all. They should just do what they did with that one episode of Superman:TAS and go with Kyle Rayner for the origin story if they do the movie, because Reynolds would make a much better Rayner than he would Hal. If only Nathan Fillion was cast...
