Wow! Seth Rogen is looking pretty fit. He doesn't look all that bad in the costume.

kool

Isn't that Kato's stuntman? Which leads me to believe that it isn't Seth Rogan at all. I doesn't really look like him to begin with.

Wow.... that suit did not look that great to me, but of course I haven't seen the old show the movie is based off of anyways, maybe it's supposed to look like that, but I didn't think that looked that great anyways.

yeah those are stuntmen, not rogen...

the movie is gonna suck

"And not a box office bomb." Jesus, who writes their dialog. :P The costumes look pretty dang true to canon. Could be ok, too early to tell.

People sure love to hate. Is it going to ruin your life if this movie is good or not. If it ends up being good...go see it and enjoy it...if it ends up not being any good move on with your life!

I'm pretty sure this is Seth Rogan. If you look closely, you'll recognize his mouth and jaw... Well, could also be his stuntman: He has to look like him in order to make the spectator believe it's him. Hell, maybe i just got fooled here!

All in all, the suit looks perfect. And think about it, If the suit goes well on the stuntman, it has to go well on Seth. In my opinion, some people underestimated the movie for all different reasons. I too was thinking that the production was going real slow, but a lot of people were like "Seth Rogan will never be up for that part"...What are you? Damn biographs? I'm pretty sure he'll be able to nail it down. He seems to take the role pretty seriously, so why wouldn't he be good? Just because he's a bit fat? because he always does comedy? Because he's Seth Rogan? Come on, the guy's an actor, he could pull off any roles i'm pretty sure about it. Let's see what it'll look like in the trailers, than if the movie is wrong, some people will have been right, if not, let's celebrate. For now, it's useless to say anything good or bad, we haven't seen anything yet. Just wait people, none of you here can do better than this anyway.

To be honest the suit for Green Hornet looks great. It looks just like the original. I'm sure its the stunt double for Rogen considering they were, ummm, doing... stunts. But all in all it looks dead on like the old show.

I don't know. I might see it, based on oneline feedback. I'm not gonna just blindly rush out and see it.

Posted by: Denny Colt on September 30, 2009 at 18:49:40

People, stop saying the movie will suck, especially when no one has actually even seen one ounce of real footage from it!!

Posted by: Man of Tommorrow on September 30, 2009 at 18:54:01

People complain about Seth Rogen not really looking like a superhero but is Green Hornet really a superhero? I only saw an espisode or two of the series but he seemed more like a detective to me. Why can't we just say that GH is an average guy but has a disguise as well. Doesn't his sidekick do most of the fighting anyway?

I don't know much about the show so do not jump down my throat if what I said was wrong.

seth rogen looks more like the leprechaun than green hornet. what were they thinking with the bright green vest and pants?

Posted by: Justice on September 30, 2009 at 19:04:31

Perhaps with everybody's expectations at a low, they might actually produce an under the radar movie that exceeds everyone's expectations.

Kato's custome is rubbish not thought for design, the suit needs to stand out more, the Green Hornet suit look cool.

Having seen the show in the past(years ago) and not too long ago on TV Land, the costumes are pretty spot-on. I wish people would stop hating so damn much. I for one think this has the potential to be a surprise hit. We shouldn't start passing judgement until we've seen a teaser or full-on trailer. Everybody should slow their roll.

Posted by: kont on September 30, 2009 at 19:43:31

Why bleed this information out so slowly? I couldn't really give two ****es about this movie. Maybe if Bruce Lee was in it...

Posted by: MDI on September 30, 2009 at 19:44:43

Jeez. People are a little too harsh, especially for a movie that has let out a little more then a cast list, some out of focus behind the scenes video, and a small tease at the plot.

Relaaaxxx and stop thinking this will be the most horrible movie of all time..

Posted by: hiruu on September 30, 2009 at 19:50:48

I'll be skipping this one!

Posted by: Shayera on September 30, 2009 at 19:54:43

Jeez, some of you people really shouldn't be posting here.
Think before you submit your comment, please?
Especially when you don't know anything about the characters, the tv series, or the basics about film-making in general.

I'm certain that Seth Rogan would be flattered to read some of these comments though, especially the ones believing that the Green Hornet in the footage is in fact, the stuntman.

But then he'd have to think about where these idiots are getting these ideas that stuntmen aren't made to look physically similar to their actor counterparts, which is kind of a no-brainer.

I really know only the basics about the tv series, which is why I don't have any expectations for this.... to succeed or fail, I really can't say and don't really care to say anyway.

At least Bruce Lee did his OWN stunts...this just looks disappointing. I'm all about the Kung-fu. If someone could have brought the Green Hornet back it would be from Quentin Tarantino. An actual fan of the genre back then. This just looks like an overpriced disappointment like all the flicks nowadays.

Posted by: No Fun on September 30, 2009 at 20:18:37

Wow. So...for the few of you here that said "I'll be skipping this one" based on this 40 second video...what will you tell your friends when they ask you to see this flick?
"Hey let's go see The Green Hornet!"
"Nah. I saw some behind the scenes footage and I could tell the entire movie blows."

Posted by: YellowBasterd on September 30, 2009 at 20:22:49

Has anyone bothered to do a google image search on Jay Chou. That Kato is obviously a stunt man. His skin tone and facial structure are completely different then Jay Chou.

Also, can some one explain to me the hate this movie's getting? As far as I know no one has seen a script to this, there have been no official photos and no real footage. I know Seth Rogen used to be fat but he's one of us fanboys and I doubt he has any interest in making a bad comic book movie. They also have Michel Gondry in the mix and visually, that guy is hard to beat. I just don't get it.

Posted by: Moviepunk on September 30, 2009 at 20:24:57

Yes, we the people that watch movies can look at a 40 sec video and say yes the entire movie blows. Just like fans of the Amateur Night @ the Apollo can boo someone off the stage for the minute of performance they can do.
