Wow, not to judge a book by its cover, but this looks like a major fail. Too much spandex seriously I'm suprised they don't have nipples on those costume a'la Batman Forever.

Seriously.
These pictures look really neat, they really look like they would be useful in a cover-op.
I mean, they are dark, they seem fit on the body which means they keep warmth, and they seem flexible.
Looks great i think.

Why the hell are all their uniforms all black? With the exception of Snake Eyes, they should not be black! They don't look nothing like the traditional G.I. Joe characters. Hell, even the G.I. Joe logo is black, what gives? That's the same "all black wardrobe" bull **** they pulled off with the X-Men movies.

This looks really lame... I wish they would have stuck with the original costumes from the cartoon/action figures.

Everyone talked **** about transformers when they changed the robots, and look how bad ass that movie was. This movie will be great, all you fan boys will still see it. Remember when X-Men has all black outfits, it was still a great movie. Stop complaining. Great posters though. I want baroness and snake eyes.

The only one worth seeing is Snake Eyes. The rest? lame.

I WANT DUKEEEEEEEEEEEE. THIS IS ONE HOTTT ASS POSTER
Posted by: joebloes on January 27, 2009 at 14:04:09
You guys do realize Snake Eyes has a fully exposed mouth in this film, right? That's why it's always shadowed in the leaked art work. They don't want you to see it 'casue it's a horrendous abomination to the character. Boo on you Stephen Sommers. I will not be seeing this film.

I understand all of the trepidation out there that this movie is going to be Street Fighter-esque, but here's hoping it rocks. I too hope it lives up to what it could be and doesn't fall into the too cute or hokey pit. These posters to me say that it's on the right track so far.
@ Tito: "What where you expecting? Yellow spandex?" I understand you want the classic look and I'm not ragging on you. I'm just asking you to cut them some slack a little in that they're going for what realism they can. Yes, I know it's a comic book, but if a Black-op, Navy-seal, Rogue-Squadron type unit such as theirs actually existed, standard outfits would be the rule. In the real world, no leader of such a unit would say, "Person A wants camo, person B wants a bright red design and person C wants to look like a ninja? Sure, why not." They'd say, "This is your uniform and this is why. If you don't like my reasons, tough."

they released pics of snake eyes before and he doesnt have his mouth showing..and how come everyt flucking movie that comes out someone says something about the dark knight or batman..now im a big huge fan of the dark knight loved it saw it 5 times in theaters but im getting sick of hearing about it. fluck!
if they had the dudes in this movie in bright clothes all you people would say, its too cartoonish and it looks stupid no one would wear that out fighting, like street fighter. so shut up and let the movie come out before you judge

I want to see the "Cobras"
Posted by: worick on January 27, 2009 at 14:14:14
The outfits are good, they need to all be the same. (they are in the military) They are a special team, so standard fatigues would not suffice. Some color wouldnt be a bad thing though, like the different colors on the monster maroon uniforms from the star trek movies. All the same with just a bit of distinction between them. Then again these are just posters, who knows what they will actually look like in full color and light.

I understand if Joe is all uniformed...but Cobra is like...matching black outfits too...ugh!
I hope at the end of the movie they go really off on their own...then we see them evolve into the classic individual looks they had.
