i can already hear the sucking sound. only question is, "just how bad is this going to suck?" i was hopeful when i saw snake-eyes, then all the characters ahd the same costume without the mask. suck, suck, suck....

and another thing; is it going to be turned into "a real multi-national U.N. peacekeeping and disaster relief hero?" i hope so, because i know I want "a real AMERICAN hero" to be subordinate to globalist political correctness.

Out of these new pics, the only ones I like are Baroness and Gen. Hawk (although he looks more like Flint, though he's Hawk, whatev).

this is gonna be sad. The big letdown is how bad storm shadow looks and the fact that the picture of destro's missing one big thing, the Mask. Baroness looks nice though.

what a surprise a black outfit.

Its amazing on how these pictures have completely killed all of my anticipation for this film. I am absolutely appalled by their choice of all black for everyone and not their original costumes. If this is what they are going to look like, I will not see this film. The movie should be called "Actors with GI Joe Names".
Horrible.

I can't believe that this guy, who claimed that the only reason why he was departing from LOST was to go and make a movie about himself. A self-Bio-Pic...
and after the guy departed he only emerges as HEAVY DUTY...from G.I.JOE...
AWESOME.....
not.
I'll take roadblock ANYDAY OF THE YEAR

The more they show of this, the less likely I will go see it.
I agree with RJ, with one modification. Call the movie "Actors I've never heard of that look too young to be battle-hardened elite warriors but are pretty enough to be models and attract the 12-17 year old demographic with GI Joe names"
...or GI Joke
It's a downloader, folks.

It just dawned on me. Were you to take all the pictures they've released thus far (except snake-eyes and Storm Shadow) and just post them anonymously, no one would ever guess what movie they were from.

Once you go black....
Posted by: MovieKnowItAll on May 7, 2008 at 15:20:47
I have to disagree. I think if they were all wearing the exact costumes from the comic/cartoon constantly that would be pretty stupid. I am all for seeing them in costume but not during every scene, do you really think they would wear some of their ridiculous outfits in actual battle? lol... Read the interviews and you will know that they wear the original costumes in the films but not at ALL TIMES...

This movie is going to suck.
Posted by: eejo on May 7, 2008 at 15:24:34
Even if the action is good in this movie, they messed up big time with the black-ops look. That's not what G.I.Joe is. Some things you just don't change for a movie. It's bad enough it's not going to be real american hero but now everyone looks the same which is what made Joe unique, the different looks. SUCKS!!!!!!
Posted by: heath on May 7, 2008 at 15:36:28
i just hope the all black costumes are what they will wear at the final battle of the movie and they are actually wearing something similar to the cartoon at the beginning. god Hollywood don't screw this movie up
