Exclusive Surrogates One-Sheet!
Source:Touchstone Pictures
July 2, 2009

ComingSoon.net/Superhero Hype! has your exclusive first look at the one-sheet for Touchstone Pictures' Surrogates, hitting theaters on September 25. Directed by Jonathan Mostow, the sci-fi thriller stars Bruce Willis, Radha Mitchell, Rosamund Pike, James Francis Ginty, Boris Kodjoe and Ving Rhames.

In the film, FBI agents (Willis and Mitchell) investigate the mysterious murder of a college student linked to the man who helped create a high-tech surrogate phenomenon that allows people to purchase unflawed robotic versions of themselves—fit, good looking remotely controlled machines that ultimately assume their life roles—enabling people to experience life vicariously from the comfort and safety of their own homes. The murder spawns a quest for answers: in a world of masks, who's real and who can you trust?

Definitely gonna be better than TDK though. They need to bring back Joel Schumacher. He, unlike Nolan, knew what he was doing.

Joel Schumacher brought us many unnecessary batman crotch shots.

I don't get the tagline either. I mean I do... but i don't. I think they were trying a little too hard for something catchy.

Looks like it's going to be a great movie though.

Am I the only one wondering why this is on SUPER HERO HYPE instead of on COMINGSOON ?
I thought this site was for super-heroes and comic-book properties.
And it doesn't say it's based on anything like that...
(Granted, it does say ComingSoon/Super-Hero-Hype Exclusive)

Posted by: Supreme Power on July 1, 2009 at 21:59:43

and WTF does this have anything to do with anything Batman related?
stay on topic, idiots.

Posted by: Ahem on July 1, 2009 at 22:09:33

Surrogates IS a comic book property.

Posted by: 80Pork on July 1, 2009 at 22:22:26

Surrogates is a comic book. It was a 5 issue series put out by Top Shelf Comics, written by Rob Venditti and art by Brett Weidle, I think. The series was later collected in graphic novel format. It was really really good...and if you read the comic, the tagline makes sense. The Surrogates 2 graphic novel comes out this month.

This involves superheroes how...?

Or am I on a site that doesn't have the word superhero in its name?

Anyone that thinks tha Depp should be in a Nolan Batman film is forgetting this:

Nolan cast people that can act.

Posted by: Really? on July 2, 2009 at 01:15:01

AAAh fanboy's... Really wyngarde? Christian Bale is the worst batman since adam west...I mean really whats with that voice... cut back on the menthol's doode...and did you see T3.. another Bale suckjob...the last good movie Bale made was The machinist... Nuff Said!

Posted by: Really? on July 2, 2009 at 01:16:52

I take that back... Bale is the worst Batman Ever! At least Adam West had some personality ... and the batoosi.

Michael Keaton is the BEST Batman ever!

Back in the day, people didn't want to give HIM a chance, but as it turns it, he DESTROYED the competition to this very day.

Nuff said!

Posted by: Kusanagi on July 2, 2009 at 02:15:40

WHAT DOES BATMAN GOT TO DO WITH THIS!?!?!?!?!

Posted by: AntoBlueberry on July 2, 2009 at 04:09:37

Yeah, it looks like a poster for a new John McClane movie.
Die Hard: With a goatee

Posted by: Saxondale on July 2, 2009 at 07:28:27

Does that tagline not reveal the whole twist of the movie?

Posted by: Lex Kilmoure on July 2, 2009 at 07:57:58

DIE HARD... with a goatee!! LOL!!

I hope that this movie will have its own identity. Looks like it should have great potential.

Posted by: Jay on July 2, 2009 at 08:00:06

Jeez people who say "Johnny Depp should play *blank*" are irritating. I like the guy and all, but he is not suited to play every part in every movie.

Hey! You know who he should really play in the next batman movie??? The Mad Hatter!!! Oh wait, he's already doing that in Alice in Wonderland :/
