Exclusive: The Cast of Push
Source:Heather Newgen
February 3, 2009
ComingSoon.net/Superhero Hype! talked exclusively to Chris Evans, Dakota Fanning, Camilla Belle and Djimon Hounsou about Summit Entertainment's new action-thriller, Push, opening in theaters on Friday, February 6.
The film, directed by Paul McGuigan, burrows deep into the deadly world of psychic espionage where artificially enhanced paranormal operatives have the ability to move objects with their minds, see the future, create new realities and kill without ever touching their victims. Against this setting, a young man and a teenage girl take on a clandestine agency in a race against time that will determine the future of civilization.

I'm not a huge fan of the people who scream, it's too cheesy.

"Heroes with a bigger budget... *yawn*"
You probably wont believe me but the director said he never saw Heroes, neither have I.

Yeah it may have the same bare-bones plot but if you think about it so do alot of movies.

Why don't you watch what you say you perv. The girl is only 13 or 14. I think you need to banned from posting anything else on this site.

Hey, AgentZero! Camilla Belle is in her 20's. Go check IMDB, okay champ?

I think he's talking about Dakota Fanning. Thats what DF stands for.
Posted by: Soup on February 3, 2009 at 20:46:28
You know it's obvious boner jams is 14 too. Still I bet at the same age DF still is out of his class and age range. Course if he is a 40 year old pedo I second the banning of posts from his IP forever. :D

Thank you, ICO and SOUP!! People like boner jams give these blogs, chat rooms, whatever a bad name. Let's keep it clean people...I'm a movie lover and want to keep the topics to a decent content. Thanks again.

ico,
I totally believe that neither you or the director have never seen Heroes but that doesn't mean the writers and the execs at the movie studio haven't. We see this all the time in movies. Anytime something has hype or a following movie studios are quick to cash in with their version.
It really looks like the exact same thing to me...
Oh well, maybe the movie will surprise everyone and my foot will be in my mouth. Who knows? I'll wait for DVD.

MrGlass
The director wrote it and he pitched it, it's an original idea.

Hey it's Johnny Storm everybody...
Well I think it's gonna be a good action movie to see anyway... I like their jedi powers... a mixed of heroes, xmen and scanners...
Posted by: biggie bizzle on February 4, 2009 at 19:24:09
somewhat similar to jumper, but jumper had no option of "work for me or else" it was just "you die for being different"

ico,
I hate to be a complete jackass but I did a little "research" (when I say research I mean I simply looked up the film on IMDB) and according to them the film is directed by Paul McGuigan and written by David Bourla...
Seems to be more than one cook in the kitchen.
I don't even know why I'm still talking about this. Haha.
Posted by: ico on February 5, 2009 at 12:44:22
MrGlass
Bourla did the rewrite. Haha.
Posted by: the cuz on February 5, 2009 at 19:47:41
The impression I get from this movie is it has a "Jumper" like plotline; surrounding characters similiar to the ones in "Heroes"- all endowed with modified variants of "Jedi" powers. Not very original on all counts.
