November 24, 2008

Superhero Hype! has your exclusive first look at the second issue of WildStorm's action-packed comic book miniseries that serves a prequel to Push, the action thriller hitting theaters on February 6, 2009. The action-packed comic was written by Marc Bernardin and Adam Freeman. It features art by Bruno Redondo and a cover by Jock.

In the comic, a secret war is about to begin, fought on battlefields obscured in shadow... and the weapons in this new conflict will be the human mind! The United States government set up the ultra-secret Division to fight this war and take the forefront in this unique arms race. Enter agent Ezra Lowe, an operative in the Division trained from an early age in psychic warfare, until one mission went horribly wrong...

The second issue of "Push" goes on sale November 26 and you view the cover and six pages now below! Also, if you missed our visit to the film's edit bay, that can still be read here.

Well, since i live in Sweden i won't even be able to take a look at the real deal. Oh well, still waiting for the movie.

Premise of the movie sounds interesting. Can't be as bad as Jumper or Wanted.

$tar wars, the early years.

Even though Push has similarities with Heroes which copied from X-Men, I think it could definitely stand on its own. There are some good actors in the movie, and I think Camilla Belle will start getting more attention as an actress.

This movie just makes me wish X-Men wasn't with Fox even more.

Is this a Heroes prequel?

Posted by: filmstu2005 on November 24, 2008 at 17:40:43

Is better than Heroes. THIS should've been the show Heroes. Heroes totally missed the mark after season 1 and shouldve been more based on reality like Push seems to be. Push just happens to have that real graphic novel quality that I would love to see on the big screen, and can't wait to see.

Looks cool- I love anything that shows a secret history of super powers.

I agree. The cover art is beyond horrible.

...so the kid can change ethnicity or what?

I dunno about the book, but the movie looks to be really entertaining. I like Chris Evans as a hero type, he's pretty funny. The special effects should make this a great popcorn flick at least, at most a great sci-fi action flick.

That cover art is atrocious. I hate having to see it every time I go to the SHH! home page.
