ComingSoon.net/Superhero Hype! talked exclusively to Christian Bale, Aaron Eckhart and Gary Oldman about playing Bruce Wayne/Batman, Harvey Dent/Two-Face and Lieutenant Jim Gordon in Warner Bros. Pictures' highly-anticipated The Dark Knight!

In the Christopher Nolan-directed Batman Begins follow-up, opening in conventional theaters and IMAX on July 18, Batman sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good with the help of Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent. The triumvirate proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as the Joker (Heath Ledger), who thrusts Gotham into anarchy and forces the Dark Knight ever closer to crossing the fine line between hero and vigilante.

wow. . . Oldman kinda gives away some spoilers there, doesn't he? I would rather not have known that stuff about his . . . what his character does to "keep the dream alive". That sux. can't wait for the movie though.

This stuff's great. I love hearin from the actors. The one thong that still messes with my head though is what role the scarecrow will play in all this. They've been distracting us from him. And in case no one figured it out from his interview aaron eckhart hit that.

There's nothing wrong with Bale. **** it how many interviews do you think these guys have done already?

Eckhart is a strange one though. He seems to be a bit of a mental midget. Then again when your interviewer asks the questions with the answer incorporated in it, What the **** are you meant to say.
I wouldn't be surprised if she's mistakenly thrown herself out with the garbage on several occasions.

Thanks a lot for including the iesb scenes between the questions. That really didn't spoil the movie for me. I think I can really go about watching the movie without knowing any scenes!
